1957 Jeep CJ-5 Army Military Willys M38-A1 .

1957 CJ-5 built to look like M38A1

All lights work.(no turn signals)

Has wiper motor not hooked up.

Recently rebuilt transfer case and transmission( still a small leak)from what I've read hard to stop.

Engine runs great. You can bump the key and go. 4wd works.

Jeep runs & drives like a jeep.

New lock outs, ront tires, rake shoes, rake hoses, anvas top,

Has canvas/metal frame doors but not new like top.

Installed accessory items long and short Shovel, xe, ersey can, ir pump, eat storage back packs, nd ammo storage containers inside.

Has fold up back seat and new front seat cushions.

Speedometer works but have separate oil, ater, nd fuel gauge. Fuel gauge working close to backwards. May have this corrected if I come across a gauge that has right ohms as sending unit but no promises yet.

Solid jeep. Under carriage is driver clean not show. Under coated floors.

The Willys M38A1 or (MD) was built from 1952 until 1957 for the U.S. military forces and from 1958 until 1971 for export to foreign governments. The United States Marine Corps continued to order and use the M38A1 until 1971. The M38A1 was so well liked, hey introduced the CJ-5 in 1955 based on its design.
Drive Train The M38A1 used the "Hurricane" F-Head 134 I4 engine, -90 3 speed transmission, ana 18 transfer case, ither the Dana 25 or the Dana 27 front axle, nd Dana 44 rear axle.
