1983 Mercedes Benz 380 sl Roadster Matte Black

Up for sale is my 1983 Mercedes Benz SL 380 it is completely custom. Ive owned it for almost a year and still finding new upgrades the previous owner installed. I bought the car custom from a dealership did not have specific on the upgrades. Theres at least 25k in upgrades when i bought it the a/c didn't work needed new hoses new igntion the car has a viper alarm system the locks the doors are not controlled by air locks like how there supposed to in this year got that fixed. got stabilizer in it Also when i made turns it was not great maybe how the new steering wheel was installed so had new wheel steering mechanism had all the oil leaks under the car sealed no leaks anymore so the turns are a lot better just got oil change couple months ago This all cost me 6k in repairs in just my care. Its my daily driver i only drive about 5 miles a day no problems ever sense I put the 6k in to make it much better drive. Its a great second car but at this moment I can only have one car to much of a gamble to be my daily driver. The odometer is exempt and is stuck at 57586 miles it would've cost me like 1k to fix and when i purchased it all the problems listed above were adding up so i picked the most important. The neat thing is the screen has a odometer that reads mid 4 k miles and change so I'm guessing it has about 60k miles on it a lot of these upgrades were done probably in 12 or 13. Back to the upgrades it has matte black paint, RE rims that have a lip in the back are pushed back I don't know exactly but there pushed back like in or two which gives you much more aggressive look. the brakes are painted red it brakes surprisingly really well, ew suspension so it looks lowered handles turns great which is important in this car good for turns. taillights and signal lights very light tint on them the flood lights have HID lights which is kind of cool, he Front two windows and rear have tints legal tint limit in Florida. The only flaws in the exterior the muffler has dark tint passenger trim is loose just like a screw to put it on i just don't know how to tighten don't want to make it worse and if i go back to the car shop I'm sure i will be charged a lot so has that. When i first bought the car i didn't know better and tried to take the hard top off myself the car does come with the tool to remove the hard top and i chipped the paint little bit that hard top chrome has little dent on one side about the size of a dime passenger side where it locks in I learned that you need two people for that.but the hard top is painted matte black to match the car the engine bay area was even painted matte black the hard top matches the interior completly very cool so does the side panel and trunk match. Everything in the car matches perfectly done. Ok so now on the interior the interior is where serious money was placed in this car from the guy that owned it before me i had the interior appraised for my insurance information it was appraised little under 10k. Even the wiring done in the car is really professionally done with all the electric add ons. The seats in the front and the back and the little ones are diamond pattern black with red stitching the door panels have the diamond pattern so does the roof of the hard top and the trunk roof. the driver and passenger seats have seat warmer they work just like a new car and the a/c gets super cold which is surprising but it did cost me 2.5k the a/c air does go through all vents. The only flaw in interior is the carpet near gas pedal is getting worn from my feat moving from brake and gas. Sometimes the speakers if u blast music the covers don't stay on. Then when you try to unlock the hard top cause of all the custom work the silver lever kind of scratches it but that is a easy fix. the car when turned on has red lights in the door panel and the arm rest back seat in the middle that are red they are automatically turned on when the car is on. Looks very cool the lights near the back seat have a honey comb design like a gaming computer which is cool. The car is as high tech as new car just with the old school vibe. It has carbon fiber dash kit touch screen heated seats you can pair your phone so you can talk hands free. I mean i could write and write just completely custom. The trunk is super custom super cool looking. The car still sold as is it does not have a warranty and is a final sale. thats how I bought it but a stead of putting money in custom work i put the money in fixing the car up to handle 5-10 miles a day You can see where the air filter is that it got burned the engine was revving very high rpm for about a week until i finally just was like whatever it cost just make it a daily driver the car revs perfect now the engine is stable and works great runs without a sweat. But still never know with future problems. I'am a motivated seller at a reasonable price thats fair both parties.
