1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Base Hardtop 4-Door 4.3L

Up for sale is 1956 hardtop, t has some unique features. I am selling this for a friend who is elderly and has several cars to liquidate. I have been a car enthusiast for 30 years. So my assessment will be fairly accurate. This car is somewhat of a custom street rod old school project. It is currently not running, ut that will not be an issue after some light tinkering. Such as new battery, lean fuel, tc. The car is equipped with late model 350 Chevy V8with a 350 transmission set up. He told me that the engine has "double hump head". It has craiger caps on keystone wheels. Bumpers, ail lights, nd trim are off the car and he says they go with the car. Bumpers will need rechroming. The car appears to be 98% complete. The glass interesting enough is tinted. Pretty cool. The interior came out of a late model appears to be Pontiac Bonneville. Steering wheel was also swapped out. The dash and clusters are in excellent condition. One interesting feature is that the rear door handles (exterior) were removed to give it that 2 door hardtop look. The rear doors still function as normal, hey open from the inside. The paint is dull, ar has been sitting for 5+ years on black top driveway. This is not a show car. It will need cleaning, ome cosmetic restoration, nd mechanical upgrading. Sheet metal is in good condition. The doors close like bank vaults. No apparent rust or day light. Frame is solid. I have not been in the trunk, ut assume that it is in good shape.
