Description

UNIQUE CUSTOM BUILT 1948 DIAMOND T MODEL 509 ON CHEVY DUALLY CHASSIS WITH 350 ENGINE AND 350 AUTO TRANSMISSIONAwesome truck that gets lots of attention wherever it goes. Currently titled and registered here in Utah. Turn key and runs well. Brakes are good.tires are good and no rust. It is just painted to look like a gnarly bruiser rat rod which it is. The chassis is all original Chevy with a later 350 engine and auto trans. The cab is all original and has the deluxe window frame and most of the hard to get stainless trim. Lights all work and windows crank out. I just recently installed the fuel cell and custom pipes. You can drive this as is or finish it off however you like. You can't beat the combination of a bullet proof Chevy with the classic Diamond T cab. Really makes for a practical truck you can actually use and depend on. I grew up driving old trucks in Kansas so I am used to how they drive and feel. This ain't no deluxe highway cruiser with air conditioning and stereo. If that is what your looking for steer clear. This is a tough truck that looks cool as hell going down the road or sitting at car shows. It has does have power steering( has a leaking seal) and power brakes as well but that is as luxury as it gets. The glass was all new but running around with no window channel in the doors caused the glass to have hair line cracks. They still work fine but I wanted to mention it. Flat glass so easy to replace but I just have not bothered.Tons of time and money went into building this truck and I hate to part with it. I am not driving it much and I have other projects that need money thrown at them so best to let someone else have a crack at owning it this puppy. It Creaks, squeaks, and leaks just so be prepared to fix a few little things or just drive it as is and have fun with it. Send me yur questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Low reserve so good luck bidding.
