This is my personal daily driver for last 6 years, t has served my very well, never driven this car in snow, s I wanted itto last forever, owever plans changed.Iused the car for manylong distance trips from here to St Augustine FL,2 times a year and once to the Florida Keys, lso couple trips to Tulsa Oklahoma. Last long distance trip was to Tulsa and was September of 2014.I am selling this as I have a new hatchback Ford Focus that I am enjoying. I have been driving Geo Metros for the past 15 years,I am an auto mechanic by trade, did personally install a 1994 Geo Metro XFI true drivetrain in it on spring of 2009. this car was originally a 4 cylinder automatic. This car is a very decent straight body and no rust. It was originally from southern VA. I wanted a straight unwrecked body to do this conversion. the engine was rebuilt at that time and new good quality clutch installed as well. everything works on this car, xcept for the CD player, adio works fine.

I still use this car occasionally, s it is still insured and registered. I don't want to park in yar, as it could become a home for mice.

BODY= paint is between fair and poor, he roof is faded and front and rear bumper covers are faded and have scratches. The hood was replaced and professionally painted, here is a minor dent on the rear hatch and minor dings here and there, othing major. No rust out or bondo in this car. Windshield is good, T IS PA state inspected.

INTERIOR= it is very clean and free or stains and tears. Still have original floor mats still in it, eats are nice an clean, ash is nice shape. It has new headliner installed back in 2009. I am a non-smoker. No pets. I am the only driver of this car, ometimes my father would use it. We don't eat in our cars, am very fusy about cleaniness of my car. No children as well. Heater and A/c work properly, window wind up and down good. All electrical components works as they should. The top of rear seat does have a cigarette burn,I replaced that seat from a salvage yard as the original one was broken.I think it can be seen in pictures.


MECHANICAL= The body and XFI drivetrain had about the same miles on i, when the conversion was done. NO shortcut were done here, do everything as it would be from factory. It took about 2 months to do the swap the right way. The XFI drivetrain is from a 1994 model, he engine wiring harness and intake manifold and ECM is from a 1995 Metro 3 cylinder 5 speed. IT is OBD 1 stage computer system, equiring only one oxygen sensor, his is the most simplified injection system and trouble free. under hood emissions decal matches the wiring and ecm and intake manifold.

TIRE= all in great shape. I got 5 years out of the front tires before I replaced them. NO front end problems here, tires have about 80-90 percent life left

BRAKES= The brakes have 65-75 percent life remaining

EXHUAST=I replaced the whole exhaust system on summer 2014

WHEEL BEARINGS. I replaced all wheel bearings on summer of 2012 and replaced with KOYO Japanese bearings. I don't like the Chinese ones.

BATTERY= is about 4 years old.

BACK IN 2009 AND 2010 I WAS GETTING CLOSE TO 60 MPG ON HIGHWAY TO FLORIDA AND OKLAHOMA, UT NOW THERE IS TOO MUCH ETHANOL IN THE FUEL AND THE FUEL BURNS OUT TO QUICKLY, ND NOW I AM GETTING IN THE HIGH 40,S INTO LOW 50,S MPG.

Here is some updated information on the car. I have put approx. 45,000-55,000 miles on car since I did the swap, s well with the engine, did redo the engine on spring of 2009.

It does not leak any oil or antifreeze. I do change the oil between 4000-5000 miles and only use Castrol 10-30 in winter and 10-40 in summer. I would use about 1/2 quart of oil between oil changes.

car drives straight down the street, ransmission upshifts and downshifts without any issues or any noises.

I do have an extra alternator, tarter, air of headlights, ear hatch shocks all go with the car.

I do have 3 keys for this car.
