1965 Corvette- Turn Key! TOP FLIGHT- Real Nice!- REAL RED-RED!! CONVERTIBLE!!

Here is a beautiful example of the mark, ts a 1965 Covette convertible. Frame off restored, op Flight blue ribbon winner. 350 horsepower 327 motor, ith factory Transistorized Ignition system. It also has factory power steering. Being offered by Bill Caldwell Corvettes. It has Knock Off wheels in excellent condition and brand new tires. Side Pipes, hey are like brand new. This is a soft top only car, o hard top, ver. The top is in as new condition and fits well. Same owner since 1999. Purchased as frame off restored at that time from Napoli Classic Motor Cars in Milford, t. It has its original motor, ith all its original stampings,original transmission, ifferential, eads, 818 holley and TI ignition system. It has its real original Vin and Trim tags. Yes, verything matches. It was meticulously cared for and loved by a retired Engineer, e and his wife loved and enjoyed it. I have known the car since they purchased it. It was repainted in 2014, ts all original GM fiberglass, he old finish was completely stripped prior to refinishing, nd the motor/transmission were removed to freshen up. The rear suspension was also removed to detail again. Sadly, he owner passed away during this phase. So I was asked to complete the work and sell the car. So, ere is what was done: The original 3:55 differential was resealed and painted, he rear spring repainted, ew bushings, tc and detailing. The motor was completely rebuilt, sing new .030" over sealed power domed pistons, orged hyperutectic, ame compression ratio as original but with a composition head gasket yeilds a lower comp ration, ow runs with 93 octane fuel no issues. The correct as original factory camshaft was used, ew stock lifters, he heads have all new 2.02" SS valves, crew in studs and guide plates and comp Cam roller tip rockers with pushrods to match All new Comp Cam springs. The exhaust manifolds were resurfaced for flatness and restored, o gaskets were used where they mate to the heads, s original. The original intake was cleaned but not glass beaded, ooks great, he 2818 Holley cabr was rebuilt. The TI distributor was rebuilt and the Amplifier upgraded to the newest KB electronics module. It runs super on 93 octane fuel. The stock flywheel got a new ring gear, esurfaced with a new stock clutch and the entire assembly was balanced. The original close ratio muncie 4 speed transmission was rebuilt with all new bearings and seals, yncrhos, hese were updated to the later hubs and used torque lock sliders. All parts purchased from Larry at D&L transmissions. All the internal gears were in great shape and reused, orrect GL-4 gear oil was used. All new antifreeze, orrect high zinc motor oil, tc. The motor was primed and painted and detailed to the highest standards. It has been broken in and run and I have put a couple of hundred miles on the car to ensure all is well. It runs flawlessly, otor is strong, ounds great, ulls as a 350 hp motor should and the trans works smoothly. The shifter was also rebuilt and is set on the short throw currently. The entire under hood area is highly detailed, s is the entire undercarriage. The tires also are brand new and just mounted and balanced. NCRS delivery data certificate is included, ame owner since 1999,it has records records back to 1981 Turn key for summer!! Needs nothing but a new owner!

Its red with red vinyl interior. Has a white soft top in like new shape, t operates very smoothly and tightly, he fit is good. Everything works. All gauges, amps, witches, tc. all in perfect working condition. All the locks,etc, gnition work as they should. Door hinges/frames are tight and doors close smoothly and easilly. The body lines are really nice, ll gaps and alignment are nice

Excellent frame, o rust or repairs ever! The entire frame and suspension was refinished/rebuilt during the frame off restoration. Ball joints, ushings, tc all nice and tight.

The choke operates perfecly. Starts easily.

Motor runs nice and cool, ery smooth, ulls strong all thru the gears

This car is an absolute pleasure to drive, uns strong, ery responsive, reat handling and ride, ot choppy, ounds fantastic. Tires, rand new as stated, 215-70-15 radial white walls.

It drives straight as an arrow, ery smooth and NO RATTLES. This is an extremely tight car.

 Brakes are great. The car stops quickly, asily, traight and smooth. The e-brake works The bumpers are nice, s new, s is all the SS trim, ts very bright and shiny. All the glass is excellent.

Headlamp buckets operate quickly and smoothly.

All the glass in in excellent condition and original on doors/vents, he windshield is a correct dated reproduction. Wipers work great. The washer squirters do not work, lthough all the correct hoses and washer bottle are in place, o effort was made to fix them.

The interior is also excellent, s new. Including door panels, eats, arpet, ashpads. The gauges, lock, adio, love box are all restored and bright, nd of course, orking. The entire heater/defroster system was rebuilt and works well. The original seat belts are restoredand work well. All the wiring throuout is as new or new. The steering column was rebuilt, ew bearings and turn signal switch. Its all nice and tight, as a brand new rag joint coupler. The steering box was rebuilt.

The door windows operate quickly and smoothly. The vent window regulators are tight and operate smoothly. The glove box door is very good and it has a new liner. The console is original and very nice. The door opening sill plates are new and excellent. Original steering wheel is excellent. All the weaterstripping and runs are in great shape. In fact, ll the body weatherstrippng is great! All the stainless steel trim is highly polished and damage free, ll chrome and bumpers are excellent.

Original spare tire tub is in place with spare.

The paint is only a couple of years old. Its excellent, olor is correct, inish is brilliant!

This is an excellent, ight car. It needs absolutely nothing. Just get in, ill it up and cruise! Hard to find a convertible like this!
