Description

You are bidding on an excellent 1937 slant back sedan. These slant backs are getting harder and harder to find. This car is in excellent shape and drives very well. It even gets 22 mpg! Built to drive and enjoy. Paint is in great shape. Interior is in great shape. Many custom touches. Here is the list of all the specifics of the car. Please take note that there is a small black mark in all the pictures near the center of the photo. This is not a blemish or defect in the car. It is a spot that was on my camera lens that I didn't notice until after posting this auction.
Drivetrain is all Mopar with a nicely built 318 and rebuilt 904 transmission. Engine was built with an RV cam, bbl intake and carb (Edelbroch), eaders and electronic ignition. Runs and drive excellent. Intake is a rare Edelbroch intake with factory Mopar part numbers. Neat piece of history there. M/T valve covers. Rear end is an 8 1/4 with 3:23 gears.Body is in excellent shape and paint is only a few years old. Front and rear bumpers are custom built and powder coated. Running lights were added to the rear bumper and under the front headlights. They double as turn signals as well. Front glass moves freely in and out. All the door glass is in great shape and moves freely. New seals throughout. Grille is excellent. Hood ornament is also excellent. Hood works perfect and has hood props.Interior is all redone and very nice. Seats are from a Chevy S10. Center arm rest and cup holder. After marker handles throughout as well. Gauges are aftermarket and all work perfect. Custom filler panel was made for all the switches and lights so the stock dash was not cut up. Steering column is a flaming river with tilt. Wheel is a cool banjo style that matches the door handles. Custom made trim for under front windshield for defrost. There is a vintage air system installed with heat and a/c however I never got the controls for this kit. E brake works perfect too.Wheels are centerline with great tread left on tires.Suspension is from a 1980's Chrysler. You get power disc brakes and power rack and pinion steering. Front sway bar as well. This car drives smoothly and handles like a modern car. This is truly an amazing car that was built to drive and enjoy. It starts up perfect first time every time. I have enjoyed this for a few years but life has changed and now I have to let go of this car. If you have any questions please ask before bidding. I have the title in hand. I would like to see a 500.00 deposit once bidding is done. Balance paid within 14 days.
