Greetings to All!! imotors is quite pleased to offer possibly the nicest 1968 Oldsmobile 98 Holiday Coupe available anywhere!! This is an original West Coast car that is rust free. I believe that it is totally original, ith one repaint in the color that it was born with. Oldsmobile lovers everywhere get weak in the knees when one like this becomes available. A Nice, ust free car with loads of options, hat was apparently treated like one of the family! Examples like this one are unheard of!
As I purchased this one at an auction, rom another dealer, don't have much history. The original owners book, nd warranty booklet with the Protect-O-Plate still affixed. are in the glove box. It was sold new in February of 1968 in Inglewood California.
Our Beautiful 98 Holiday Coupe is basically an original and unrestored car. It has been painted at some time in it's life, nd shows extremely well. Being a west coast car, t is totally free of the rust demon. We have underneath pics if you like. The chriome is bright and shiny with no pitting! It runs and drives like a dream, nd just floats down the highway on 4 new 15" whitewall radial tires. It also stops quite nicely with power disc brakes that we just serviced, o include new wheel cylinders and hoses, long with new disc pads up front. The exhaust is recent as well, nd is quiet.
We had our expert interior shop, eimann's Interiors, eupholster the entire front seat, nd the rear cushion with correct, nd original materials. The carpets are also new, nd are of the correct design. All power equipment works well, ncluding windows, eats and locks. The radio works some of the time, ore if you play with the AM and FM buttons. I will try some tuner cleaner. The heater core has been bypassed, nd the temp lever inside the car is stuck on hot. The fuel gauge is not working. The A/C compressor engages, s blowing cool, nd out of the vents. The system needs to be looked at to function as designed(I think that the control unit in the car needs redone, s does the vacuum system).. Also, he power antenna is inop, owever, ou can raise and lower it by hand.
This is a VERY nice car that has just been fully mechanically sorted, nd is ready to be enjoyed by the next lucky owner. I have done all of the heavy lifting, nd fixed all of the major issues, o bring it to this level. A few minor fixes, nd it will be as perfect as an original 50 year old car can be. I have driven it extensively, nd will continue to do so, o be sure the bugs are worked out. So far, t has been 100% reliable.

Our Ermine White 98 was purchased new in February 1968 in Inglewood, alifornia.

The areas around and behind the skirts are the most prone to rust. None found here!

The Ermine White Paint Just Glistens in the sun. Pretty much the same way it did 48 years ago!! A few minor nicks and scratches from normal usage, ut certainly nothing to deter from the Beauty and Originality of this Gorgeous 98!!
