Description

Red 1995 Eagle Talon Tsi FWDAutomatic TransmissionMoon Roof Clear TitlePassed California smog test recently. ready to be registered in California Rebuilt Engine at 103000 milesNew Paint at 103000 milesUpgraded to Evo 16G turboRecently installed Recaro seatsI am the original owner. non-smokerKnown issues are: hatchback door does not always stay propped up. driver side window rattles if you drive with it rolled halfway down. key doesn't work in driver's side door (I bought a kit to install power locks w key fob but never installed it). horn doesn't work and cruise control doesn't work. When the engine was rebuilt. he did use some slightly better than OEM parts. and then there is the Evo turbo. those are the only "mods". It is from the Midwest so even though it was mostly kept in my garage. there is undercarriage rust. The way the car looks and drives. it is an extremely good deal at $3800. It's difficult to sell online because you are relying on photos and can't test drive it. but it has great acceleration without the noise of an overly-modded car. All you hear is the awesome sound of the turbo spooling up. The Recaro seats are very comfortable and the shocks are OEM (not dropped) so your internal organs are not going to take a beating. The seats by themselves are worth $1000. The rebuilt engine was $1400. not including the labor cost to re-install it. tune it and add the Evo turbo. The new paint was $3000. Well over $6000 has been put into this car in the last few years. I moved to California and bought an electric car. I also have a camper van. I don't need 3 vehicles. I don't have room to park them all. and I don't want to pay insurance for 3 vehicles and maintain 3 vehicles. so someone else who wants a good-looking fast car to drive should take advantage of that.
