VERY nice '73 Scout II runs and drives great !! Last auction missed reserve so its being relisted. Also, we lowered the reserve $2500! It's gotta go! Reserve is well under 15K!! I'm buying several more IH's and I need the room. New parts are as follows:
Under the hood and chassis:
Engine bay wiring harness, PS pump, alternator, fuel pump, fuel vac canister, Holley carb w/ electric choke (new, not rebuilt), belts & hoses, thermostat, radiator, battery, battery tray & cables, windshield washer tank, all wheel cylinders, stainless steel brake lines, master cylinder, vac booster, rubber fuel lines, fuel sending unit, all new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing, pilot bearing and fly wheel resurfaced, replaced rear main and freeze plugs on back of block, steering stabilizer shock, body mount kit, replaced one body wedge, front of shelf and door sills with lip for weather stripping, fuel tank professionally cleaned, all gear cavities drained and serviced, new starter solenoid, new steering rag joint, pointless Pertronix distributor kit, new Gabriel front shocks and Monroe Gas-Matic shocks in rear. (Leaf spring bushings replaced by previous owner).
Body and interior:
All New glass, weatherstripping and door felts (1/4 glass rubber unavailable), charcoal grey carpet, PT Cruiser bucket seats with new upholstery (black with charcoal grey cloth inserts) and powder coated bases, new seat belts, complete matching lock kit in column and doors and has cylinder for hatch (does not have hard top or rear bumper) comes with new bikini top & sport bar (not a roll bar), Boss stereo and 6X9's, cargo area bed-lined, all new side marker lights, tail light housings and lenses and sockets, tailgate hood and doors dis-assembled for new Arctic White paint (has a few very tiny chips) and black Rallye decals, dimmer switch for headlights, all new bulbs, Grant steering wheel, turn signal switch, front bumper ground and re-chromed, brand new period correct 8 spoke chrome wheels with Eagle centers and new 31X10.5X15 BF Goodrich All Terrain, new exterior door handle gaskets, new side mirrors, new head light switch, cig lighter replaced with 12v power point, windshield wipers not installed in pics but are now installed.
Not complete: 1) Glove box lock. 2) AC compressor and under dash vent included but not hooked up. 3) Dash has cracks but was sealed with poly urethane, a dash mat will finish it off nicely. 4) No hard top or rear bumper.
Probably leaving a few things out but you get the picture. Its a 43 year old vehicle that runs and drives great but I still advise that this vehicle be shipped and not driven across states. We have driven it and worked out many bugs but there's always a bug or two to be discovered. Currently has no fluid leaks that have been detected. This vehicle has no warranty expressed or implied and is sold As-Is.
