Description

Please note that experience shows us that the photobucket of over 100 large pixel pictures posted here are in most cases best viewed and downloaded using the very latest and most updated version of the 'Firefox' browser as some other browsers and especially older browser versions are not capable of accommodating the size of the download. Over the years our clients have overwhelmingly been appreciative of our many unaltered large pixel photos posted in our ads and our feedback has been that it is very rare that a dealer will post all but the most flattering of professionally finished photographs. We prefer to post the many photos taken of the car, in sometimes unflattering but natural sunlight, in order for our prospective buyers to be able to see true and reliable images of the car advertised and that is the reason for some seemingly duplicated shots. We trust you will agree.
West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and beautiful example of this wonderfully and with no expense spared whatsoever customized race ready but street legal 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback which received a full restoration and customization by its previous owner and is finished in a striking 'Black' color with GT markings and a matching fiberglass hood with hood pins and with a custom grey velour bucket seat interior with black carpeting.
The car was originally born on 2/24/1967 as a 2+2 Fastback and built in San Jose, CA with a 289 2 barrel V8 engine with a C4 automatic transmission. It was originally 'Clearwater Aqua Metallic' with a standard Black vinyl interior. The car has been recently and professionally customized at the renown 'Mustang Ranch' of Santa Clara, CA with no expense spared by its previous owner. Over $48K in receipts on the build. The motor has perhaps 900-1,000 miles on it since the build with the following specs as we know them:

We purchased the car from the previous owner with only some 900-1,000 miles on the build and as previously stated complete records of the build and customization but with the car not having been started in 2 years. We found that the starter motor was now not engaging and it was determined by our mechanics that it had been damaged due to a faulty ECM. We had to purchase a new ECM from 'Fast Systems' and repair the wiring. We also replaced all the old connectors and welded a new opening on the exhaust in order to mount a new upgraded O2 sensor. The car was then sent out to a Dyno Tuning facility to be tuned. Upon return it received a full service with a new battery, new fuel pump, spark plugs, we had installed new wiring harnesses, a starter motor, Fast System Stand Alone EFI ECM, oil filter and all fluids changed and a full safety inspection was performed on front and rear brakes and with all 4 tires checked for correct pressures and rotation. Our cost, $7,506.25.
This particular car is a seriously striking racing Mustang which turns heads wherever she goes! With everything virtually brand new, it is the perfect turn key ready racing Mustang to buy today for any muscle car or Mustang enthusiast who wants to do nothing but to race or drive fast and enjoy it NOW!

This must be one of the most heavily invested in and completely rust free and tastefully restored examples of an early Mustang Fastback available anywhere; a professionally customized example, primarily with speed in mind with highly desirable options including a 4 speed toploader Hurst manual transmission and a stroked 392 V8 engine in turn-key ready daily driving, daily head-turning, and daily appreciating condition!
