Here we have for sale a rare old original 1951 GMC Advanced Design 3/4ton panel truck. This truck has local history here in Reno, Nevada. It was bought here from the Fire Department. The red paint is still present in areas and same with the truck number. I am just not sure what it's exact purpose was when it was in Reno. The truck has been sitting for some time but it's is mostly all there and complete. It is very hard to find these panel truck and especially a nice clean GMC 3/4 ton like this one. The truck has a really straight and pretty rust free body. The only rust is in the driver side rear quarter. The rockers are solid and straight on the truck. The door are nice and solid and the front end is just beautiful. The grille is pretty flawless. It's hard to find anything wrong with the grille or front bumper. It just has patina and fading paint. The front end is the nicest I have seen in an old truck in a long time. They always have something wrong with them. The running boards are both intact. The drivers side has a dent in it. The truck has all of its original wheels and only two hubcaps. The fenders are all intact but the driver rear has a big dent and the passenger front has a big dent in them. The rear door and lower valence are dented. I do have a nice clean straight left rear door for the back and the tail light. The interior of the truck is complete. The truck still has its original bucket seat and the optional bucket passenger seat still in it. The floors are nice on the truck! They are solid! The cargo area still has all its original nice wood planking in it. The steering and dash are all nice. The speaker grille has been cut but I have a good replacement to fix that. The truck is missing its driver side window. The engine has been changed with a later Chevrolet straight 6. I'm having a hard time id'ing the cubic inch of the engine. It's all complete and it turns over by hand. The stater is missing that I'm suspecting that is why they parked the truck. However, the engine does turn over by hand which is nice. These engine are super reliable and will probably start right up with fresh gas and a starter intact. The rear bumper is missing. I have some extra parts like rear bumper brackets, sun visor, mirrors, and more. This is a complete project truck but it would be absolutely insane all built to original or modified however you may choose. This truck has no brakes besides the emergency brake. It needs to be winched on a trailer. I can do my best to help with loading and moving the truck to the street for shipping. I have a Nevada title for the truck and an owners manual too!
