1936 Auburn Boattail Speedster

Just bought out of an estate from a wonderful Lady : 1981 Auburn Boattail Speedster SUPE, SUPER LOW MILES SHOWING and it's believabl, as the car was seldomly driven by it's older caretaker. Strong running GM 350 cu. V, automatic transmissio, power steering and brakes and even working AC ! ( most Auburn replica's are For, so this is a rare GM version ) This is a professionally built ca, built in Canad, and one of only 26 built I believe. This is no. 15 and she drives very smooth. The engine is mouse quiet and you can hardly feel her shift. Brakes work very well. The top has had a repair on each sid, but it's heavy cloth and you can hardly notice from a few feet awa, so I didn't bother fixing it. He, come o, it's down most of the time anyway..BEST OF AL, IT'S HIDDEN AND FOLDS DOWN BEHIND THE SEAT UNDER A LID. Paint and chrome is nice. I just had the fenders touched u, howeve, there are still some very minor imperfections on the body ; quite normal for a car that age . The interior is ver, very nice. Chrome shows nice too. The tires have good treat on the, but I recommend renewing those as they are original looking. The A.C. work, but the compressor is starting to make a bit of noise. There's a spare tire and a jack ( actually uncommon for these cars ) All in al, this is a great looking and driving Aubur, prof. buil, ready to enjoy and worth every penny I'm asking. The car looks very genuine and even has a golf bag door and side curtains that snap on very easy. Go look at what other Auburns look lik, and compare the body shape ; this car looks very authentic.
