Description

This is an original Ermine white with blue interior 1965 Malibu Super Sport 2 door hardtop. The interior is velour on the seats only instead of vinyl, so its much more comfortable to ride and drive in.
The original owner since 1965 is our uncle Bob who sold it to me 19 years ago. I had the car stripped to bare metal and then once I saw there was almost no rust, I had it painted and began the restoration to its current condition. The small rust was over the lip of the quarter panels and that was very easy to repair since the metal was very strong to weld on.
There have only been 2 owners in the DMV files, he and I. The car outside and inside is extremely nice. The car has a manual steering box, manual drum brakes and a 2 speed wiper. The car has never been smoked in or had any pets in it what so ever. The interior still smells new. There are SS custom carpet mats in the floor area. This is a true SS with bucket seats and the original gauge cluster. The engine is a 327 Hydraulic Roller motor with aluminum edelbrock heads and intake. The headers are ceramic coated. There is an MSD distributor and coil with an MSD multi spark box. The engine sounds great!! You will not be disappointed on how it runs, the engine sounds like its PISSED OFF.
The engine is a 1965 SS 327 that was balanced, blueprinted and decked so there are no numbers stamped on the deck of the block, it has a Holley double pumper carburetor, and dual flow master mufflers. The exhaust exits just past the rear tires. I built the engine and have not even had time to break it in. The transmission is a Turbo 350 with a 2000 Saturday night special stall converter and a shift kit that I built. I installed a gear indicator in the automatic console to indicate that there are 3 forward gears. The car has a new antenna and stereo with USB and a card reader available. There are 2- 6x9 speakers under the perforated back package tray. The original steel spare wheel, jack and handle are in the trunk. The car has its original black and yellow plates front and rear. The bumper were stripped and re-chromed. The bumper brackets were powder coated black. The wheel wells were powder coated but they have some light over spray that need to be rubbed out for them to shine again. The hood has new insulation under it. The glove box is new and has a light that comes on when the glove box door is open, both door hinges have been rebuilt and when the doors close they sound solid, no crooked hanging doors. The windshield is new. The rear glass is original. You really need to hear it and look at it to appreciate it. The reason I am selling it is to make room in the garage to start on my sons car that we would like to put together.
No unreasonable offer will be refused, we would like to see the car go to a good home and have someone that will drive it and enjoy it.
