1948 1949 1950 1951 1052 1953 Chevy 3100 pickup running rolling chassis engine

This is a NO RESERVE auction is for a clean, complete rolling and driving chassis with 216 engine, 3 speed manual transmission and 4.11 rear end from a 1951 Advanced Design AD Chevy 3100 half ton short bed pickup truck. It is pretty much like I found it and everything works. It has been converted to 12V.

This is a farm find and partial restoration by the previous owner. I bought it for the cab and bed parts for an S10 swap. This is not a frame you can slap a cab and bed on and drive but most of the parts are original and it's a great start for a reestoration.
Previous owner said the engine has been rebuilt. I can't confirm that but it starts easily and runs great with no smoke at all. It doesn't like to idle. I believe the Rochester carb needs a rebuild.
The three speed transmission shifts smoothly through all gears, forward and reverse, no grinding. The clutch is good. It needs a throw out bearing, which is included in the auction.
The original 4.11 rear end is solid and ready to go. And the spare tire carrier is still there.
The only fault I could find with the frame is a small crack, about 1.5 inches long, at the very back of the C frame on the passenger side. I have the running board mount seen missing in the photos.
There are no body or cab parts included in this auction. What you see in the still photos is what you will get. The rally wheels are included. The tires are not road worthy.
There is non-refundable deposit of $300 within 48 hours of the end of the auction through Paypal. Full payment within 3 days.
Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs but I can recommend a trusted local shipper for delivery within a 400 mile radius of 74055 zip code.
This is advertised for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction if it sells outside of eBay. Local inspection is available by appointment. I'm the Tulsa, OK metro area.
