Description

Excellent condition Valiant...local California car: Slant six 225 cu in.; Torqueflite 940 tranny; automatic w/ power steering.
Car runs great. Needs nothing mechanically. Funny...this car was one of the uglier cars in the sixties but now it just has character...rare and cool.
Very clean and original all around.

Upholstery/carpet is fairly new with no rips.
Prior owner took out the entire interior and made small repair in floor behind driver's seat then cleaned, sanded and epoxy coated the floor. Original undercoating from factory still on underside of car except for small repair panel (see photo).
Only issue with car that I know of is the dash pad is cracked hence the dash pad cover. There are usual small seam oil seepage (tranny speedo cable and main seal) but those are brand new seals and gaskets, are only available made from cork so they swell and contract and some seepage for this year is inevitable.
The car is a partial daily driver for me so it's been maintained constantly. Freeway mostly.
Probably the cleanest Valiant you'll ever see. I bought the car 5 years ago from the second owner who garaged it and drove it on Sundays. I went thru the car and have driven it 2-3x weekly ever since. It has been garaged its entire life as far as I know. I have not seen any evidence of frame or body rust other than very, very minor surface type of a 50+ year old car.
This car is being sold as is with no expressed warranty. The car has been cared for by a few local mechanics and I have all records from my ownership and some prior.
