This vehicle was purchased new by the City of Champaign and used by the Public Works Department. The vehicle currently has 60,777 miles & was removed from service in September 2016 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. There was a report in August 2016 of the air conditioner not cooling well & being noisy. It was checked out, but the problem appeared intermittent. The suspension appeared to be noisier & may need to be looked at. The front tires have approximately 50% tread remaining & the rear tires have approximately 30-40% tread remaining. The plow operates & works with no issues.

The exterior is in poor condition. There is corrosion present on the frame from use in snow & ice removal operations. The roof of the truck has several small spots where the paint has chipped/worn away & some surface rust is starting to occur. The driver side front mud flap is missing. The driver side exterior aftermarket window vent is missing. The driver side aftermarket step bar is missing. The driver door has multiple scratches & dings. The driver side swing out door has multiple scratches present. The driver side c-pillar has multiple scratches present. The driver side of the truck bed has multiple scratches & corrosion present around the wheel well. The driver side storage box has surface rust present & the arms won’t allow the door to stay open. The driver side rear inside bed surface & tailgate surface has green spray paint present. The tailgate exterior has multiple scratches present. The passenger side of the truck bed has multiple scratches & corrosion present around the wheel well. The passenger side storage box has surface rust present & the arms won’t allow the door to stay open. The passenger side door & rear swing out door has multiple scratches & dings present.

The interior is in fair condition. The driver side seat cushion has a large tear/wear spot on the driver side edge. There is an approximately 2-inch diameter hole in the dashboard to the right of the steering column from where an aftermarket gauge was previously installed.

This vehicle was serviced on a120-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in March 2016, at 55,988 miles. Other repairs to this vehicle include the following items. In Jan 2016, at 82,747 miles, the power steering cooler assembly was replaced. In Aug 2016, at 57,318 miles, it was checked over for a report of the air conditioner not cooling well. No issues were noticed & this may be an intermittent problem. In Mar 2015, at 55,695 miles, the wiper blades were replaced. In Sep 2014, at 52,572 miles, the driver side front turn signal bulb & driver side seat belt buckle assembly were replaced. In Oct 2013, at 48,930 miles, the plow cutting & skid shoes were replaced. In Feb 2013, at 45,816 miles, the left angle plow hydraulic hose was replaced. In Dec 2012, at 45,258 miles, the fuel pump, fuel pressure sender, gasket, & central junction box were replaced. In Oct 2012, at 44,727 miles, the rear tires were replaced. Also in Oct 2012, the battery was replaced. In Sept 2012, at 44,632 miles, the plow skid shoes were replaced. In June 2012, at 43,275 miles, the fuel pump driver module was replaced. In Dec 2010, at 31,474 miles, the front brake pads, front brake rotors, rear brake pads, rear brake rotors, & two tires were replaced. In Feb 2010, at 27,082 miles, the right mud flap was resecured. Also in Feb 2010, at 26,948 miles, the right side plow shoe was replaced. In Jan 2010, at 26,622 miles, the left front tire was replaced. In Dec 2009, at 26,332 miles, the plow blade was replaced. In Oct 2009, at 25,345 miles, the plow pivot hardware was replaced. In Aug 2009, at 24,779 miles, the battery & right rear turn signal bulb were replaced. In Sept 2008, at 19,071 miles, the right rear & both front tires were replaced. In May 2008, at 16,753 miles, the front license plate bracket was reattached. In Mar 2008, at 15,429 miles, the right front tire was repaired. In Nov 2007, at 14,267 miles, the spark plugs, sensor, catalytic converter, gasket, injectors, & ignition coil assembly were replaced under warranty at the local Ford dealership. In Oct 2007, at 14,260 miles the vehicle had minor accident damage repaired. In Oct 2007, at 13,925 miles, the ignition lock cylinder was replaced under warranty at the local Ford dealership. In Feb 2007, at 10,373 miles, both wiper blades were replaced. In Oct 2005, at 2,504 miles, the right rear tire was repaired. In July 2005, at 1,140 miles, the vehicle had Ford recall #05S33 repaired at the local Ford dealership.

This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location.
