Description

1935 AUBURN 851 BOAT TAIL SPEEDSTER

Now availableis this amazing 1935 Auburn 851 Speedster replica. This is without a doubt the most beautiful automobile I have ever had the pleasure of driving. It attracts more curious attention, questions, and impromptu photo shoots that any other car on the road today. It has been lovingly maintained and kept in turn-key running and driving condition. The previous owned was an elderly retired doctor who occasionally drove it throughout a local state park, and his family wanted to ensure that he would never have any trouble while cruising around.

Mechanically, this car is in excellent condition. It was built by Elegant Motors in 1997 on a Cadillac D-body chassis. Most of these Auburn replicas were built by obscure facilities in the late 70s and early 80s, so this particular car is nearly 20 years newer than others in the market. The engine was replaced four years ago with a fresh factory GM crate motor. This 5.7L V8 starts right up and runs perfectly smooth. It has some mild performance upgrades such as an aluminum intake manifold and 4 barrel carburetor, but was built specifically with reliability and drivability in mind. With approximately 300hp, it has plenty of acceleration power and cruises comfortably at highway speeds. The engine is backed by a smooth shifting automatic transmission. The tires and brakes are in great condition and there are no fluid leaks under the car, even after sitting for a week or more at a time. This car is 100% mechanically sound and has just 16,982 miles since new.

The body lines of this Auburn boat tail are simply stunning. This car represents theepitomeof art-deco style and is truly a rolling sculpture. The body is in great condition and all the trim and chromearound the car is properly in place. The pewter pearl paint was laid out beautifully when the car was built. Upon close inspection there are a few small blemishes inthe paint to be expected with a 19 year old vehicle that can be seen in the photos. From 5 feet away this car appears flawless, and most onlookers are so fascinated with the overall appearance that nobody notices the minor imperfections.

The interior has been recently redone with all new leather on the dashboard and door panels. The VDO gauges and stereo system are also new. The bucket seats are very comfortable and furnished with seat belts. Allthe lights are working properly as well.

Take this rare opportunity to own the most eye catching automobile that money can buy. While an original Auburn speedster will soar past seven figures, this replica provides the same million dollar looksin an affordable, reliable anddrivable package. Fire it up and take it for a cruise any day of the week. The modern drivetrain and chassis along with power steering and brakes make this Auburn easy to drive and park anywhere. There is a 17 digit VIN on the vehicle and it is titled as a 1997. I have the New York State transferable title in my possession. Registration by the next owner will not be an issue.

This is the best priced Auburn Speedster available, although I am notdesperate to sell it. I know what it is worth and that it is nearlyimpossible to replace. I may entertain trades so let me know what you have in mind.

The Buy-It-Now is priced very reasonably at $44,900. Call or Text Joe @ 518-577-5659anytime with questions.

JSN Automotive is a New York State licensed and bonded dealer (DMV# 7119449). I have sold thousands of vehicles on eBay when I had a big dealership. I have since scaled way back and now only cherry pick extra clean vehicles that I am excited to buy and sell. My dealership is located right out of my home, which means two important facts for potential buyers. This first is that I have virtually no overhead so I don't have to mark up the prices like other dealers. Secondly, because I am operating out of my home, I want my customers to be 100% satisfied with the vehicle they are buying.

I am located just 15 minutes from the Buffalo Niagara Airport. Interstate transit plates (temporary tags) may be available. I can also assist with organizing transportation. A $1000 deposit is due within 2 days of end of auction. Full payment is due in the form of wire transfer or certified check within 5 days of end of auction. Vehicle must be paid for in full and funds must clear our account before the vehicle or title leavesour possession.
