1950 Willys Truck......4 Wheel Drive...Original...4cyl Hurricane...Black Plates.

Hi. Today I have vintage Willys 4 wheel drive truck for sale. Let me start by saying I am NOT a Willys truck expert. I will describe my truck to the best of my abilty and my limited knowledge. I believe this truck was made in 1950 and is a model 473. It features the 4cyl Hurricane motor. As you can see in the pictures the truck is nice and solid and is a great find for a Willys enthusiast. The truck is basically all original. At some point the the flat bed was installed. According to the previous owner the truck blew a head gasket and then was parked for many years. At some point the owner located a second engine to go with his truck. This 2nd Huricane engine is included with the sale. Looking at both engines they seem complete minus 1 carburator and 2 air cleaners. I would consider both of these motors in need of a rebuild. I tried to hand turn the engines and was NOT able to. The clutch engages and the transmission seems to shift correctly. Both front and back windows are broken. The side windows roll up and down and are intact. This truck has its 2 ca black plates. This truck will be sold with a bill of sale for title. it has long fallen off the DMVregistraion roll The body seems very solid with a fair amount of surface rust. There are 2 spots of rot on the bottom of the doors and behind the front fenders ( see pic ) The floor pans seem solid. The truck has its original gauges . bench seat. mirrors. glove box. and steering wheel. Also has a cool Spot light. The back flat bed is very solid and well made. This truck would be great for a father and son project. 3 tires hold air 1 tire hold air for 2 hours. Please e-mail or call me (805 440 eight 4 seven 5 ) with any questions.
