1967 Sunbeam Alpine Series 5 Nice Original Survivor

We have decided to sell our little Sunbeam Alpine named "Sonny" as we have too many projects and not enough time. Sonny is a Series 5 Sunbeam Alpine my wife and I purchased from a family in Arizona that owned him since about the mid 70's. He is a very solid. traight. original. rust free example of this car. All panel gaps are excellent. the doors. bonnet and boot all shut beautifully. He runs great. starts right up. transmission. clutch . nd brakes all work well. We have spent a ton of time and money to make Sonny a good reliable car. and have attempted to keep him as stock and original as possible. We have done the following work:Rebuilt the Cylinder head as shown in the photosInstalled new windscreen rubberNew battery and cablesNew convertable topNewly rebuilt radiatorNew water pumpRebuilt some of the brakesRebuilt all of the clutch system with new linestune upRefurbished interior including new carpet. newly reupholstered seats with nice red pipingNew dashProfessionally rebuilt carburetorsNew electic fuel pump for better starting and reliabilityWe also replaced some trim that was either missing or not in good shape. The tires. although older. still have great tread. We are unsure of the mileage due to the age of the car and the speedo cable needing to be replaced. Sonny has only been painted once in his 48 year life. The respray looks to have been done a long time ago. and is showing its age. however it can be seen that no rust or bondo has come through which confirms to me that the car is free of rust. The paint is very thin and is oxidized from age. has various nicks. chips. nbsp;and scratches. nbsp;but could be presented just as it is. However is you desire a better. glossier finish. you would want to do a respray. Overall this is great car that is very solid and not abused-they are getting harder and harder to find in unmolested condition. International bidders are welcome!
