Description

Up for auction is a 1974 Triumph TR-6 with it's original engine and factory hard top. The car is a 4 speed with a non-overdrive transmission. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. I'm not a mechanic or a dealer just a guy selling a project car Heritage: I believe that this a numbers matching car after doing much research . The production date is Oct. 1973. nbsp;commission number is CF 13445 U. engine number is CF 13566 UE. nbsp; body tag T 12525 CF and body tag # is 13078 CF. The paint code is #72 Pimento Red and the interior color code is #63 Chestnut. To be 100% you would need to order your certificate from the Heritage Center at: http://www. heritage-motor-centre. co. uk/ As you can see the car needs a full restoration. The engine was last run in September of last year using and external fuel source ( the gas tank is clean but not hooked up to the fuel system ). The engine ran well with no smoke and held good oil pressure. When the transmission was pulled it was it working order. The car comes with its factory hard top and a soft top and frame ( soft top canvass needs to be replaced ). The tires where replaced about 3 or 4 months ago and have no miles on them. The frame looks good overall but as you can see some rust has started on the drivers floor board. The trunk and battery box look good. Note: The front hood condition is due to having something store on it and the engine has never had a fire. I'm not a mechanic and was hoping to have the car restored but I have to many little British sports cars at this time to work on this one so I'm passing her on to the next guy. I'll see about getting some underbody photos but I'm not sure if my little jack will get it high enough in the air to take good photos. This is a NO reserve auction so make no mistake this car will sell to the highest bidder at auctions end. Offers: Yes I'm open to offers. The offer must be over the current bid price on the car. Also. I will only use e-Bay's prescribe methods and procedures for closing the auction early so don't ask me to do other wise. Overseas Bidders: Yes the auction is open to overseas bidders. The auction is open to overseas bidders and if you need to ship overseas try Schumacher Cargo Logistics shipping for fast free quotes ( http://www. schumachercargo. com/ ). In Closing: The above description is my observations and opinions and they very from person to person so ask all questions prior to bidding. Again. not an expert just what I know and see so please ask any and all questions you might have. I'm not an expert and my opinion of the car may vary from yours so please look at the photos closely and if you need more information or the extra photos I have available please ask prior to bidding. I know how hard it is to purchase a car online so please ask any and all questions you have prior to bidding or if you can come see the car for yourself ( I really encourage you to do so ) as I want the winning bidder to be satisfied with the car when it arrives. Due to the cars age and being I'm sell the car as a "project car" there is warranty. nbsp;guarantee and the car is being sold " AS IS" and mileage exempt. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auctions end. On Mar-23-15 at 10:30:42 PDT. seller added the following information:All- The car has / is drawing much interest. To be clear what you see in the photos is what you get. Please use the "zoom" feature to look at the car closely to ensure you know what your getting. The car does need to be restored ( hard top as well ) but given she is a complete numbers matching car she is well worth the effort. The car is being sold "As Is" and will sell to the highest bidder at auctions end regardless of the ending auction price. My observations / opinion of the car may vary from yours so please ask any and all questions prior to bidding.
