Description

My 1967 Divco milk truck is up for sale. I am the third owner of this truck. Truck came from Minnesota and was in storage for 20 years before the second owner bought it in 2004 or there about. He also kept it garaged except for the occasional times he would take it for a ride. During the seven years he had it. he worked on the mechanics. He installed 6 new tires. ( dual rear wheels ). reconditioned all wheels. installed new exhaust from manifold back. new brakes and brake lines. brake power booster. brake lines and axle seals. new fuel line front to rear. king pins ( steers easily ). fuel pump. master cylinder. and new wooden floor over the original metal floor. He decided to sell it in 2011. and I bought it . I am currently a dairy farmer in north west New Jersey. But as a boy I worked in our family car repair/ gas station business. That is when I fell in love with these trucks. and hoped to own one someday. That dream came true in 2011. Since I got it. I have removed dents. treated some rust patches. primed the interior. changed all fluids front to rear. I also installed new diamond plate over the original front floor. Just this week. I installed new spark plugs. points wires and coil. Since I want to sell her. I went up to the barn to pull her out for a bath. and the clutch is fine. The motor runs fine. It is a stand up or sit model. It also has cool plate refrigeration in the box. which I was told works. I have never tried it. All lights and gauges work except fuel gauge. My original plan was to use it for 2 weekly farmers' markets. but realized it just wasn't practical. So she is for sale. Included in the sale are many parts. gas tank. spare hood assembly. radiator. another seat. assorted body parts. a second grill. steering box etc. For the age and the life these trucks had. it is in good shape. THIS IS THE AD FROM THE GUY I BOUGHT IT FROM SO I GUESS I WOULD BE THE FOURTH OWNER. I'VE HAD IT FOR AWHILE AND THOUGHT I WOULD FIND TIME TO FIX IT UP BUT I HAVE TOO MUCH TO DO. THE ENGINE RUNS GREAT. FOR IT'S AGE IT'S NOT BAD. On Mar-27-15 at 17:54:09 PDT. seller added the following information: I had some people ask how the engine runs and it runs great. It starts good & it's quiet. I don't see how the engine could start & run any better.
