Description

NOTE: I had to re-list this due to a buyer who refused to meet my terms of sale and wouldn't respond when I tried to contact him to get the deposit. For sale is my 1972 Plymouth Satellite Road Runner clone. I decoded the VIN and originally it was a Satellite with a 318 2bbl. made in St. Louis. Mo. I bought this car 6 years ago and it was pretty much the same as it is now. I drove it occasionally until the summer of 2010 and it has been in storage since. The previous owner bought it from someone in Arizona who did the Road Runner conversion. I believe it spent most of it’s life in AZ because it has very little rust on it. The body was completely straight when I bought it but someone backed into the left rear fender (see pic). There aren’t any creases from it and I think it could be worked out pretty easily. It currently has a 360 with a 4bbl. carb and an aftermarket Edelbrock intake manifold. It starts right up and runs well. It has dual exhaust with Cherry Bomb glasspacks (one needs to be put back on). Someone added a 3 gauge pod under the dash (water temp. . amperage. and oil pressure) but only the water temp. gauge is hooked up. I installed a Pioneer head unit with CD. MP3. and Ipod inputs. It has four good Goodyear Wingfoot tires. P225/70R14 in front and P235/60R14 in rear. They are all mounted on Cragar S/S wheels. It comes with what is shown in the trunk picture. The stock intake manifold. the stock air intake. 2 Flowmaster mufflers. spare tire. and bumper jack. The following is what I know needs fixed to be driven:The brake light is on and they don’t build up much pressure. Probably needs master cylinder and maybe more. Needs muffler put back on and finished running tailpipes out the rear of the car. The transmission may need some work. It sometimes has a delayed reverse. The passenger side window is installed slightly crooked and doesn’t shut completely (see pic). The battery is weak and will need to be replaced. Overall this is in very nice condition for it’s age and gets lots of attention wherever you drive it. You could fix a few small things and drive it like it is or restore it and drop in a 440.
