1968 Plymouth Barracuda Base 5.2L, 318ci V8, auto

1968 Barracuda power top convertible. Matadore Red. Matching number original. Rally wheels; rally dash. One of 2840 in production. 318 ci V8. Power brakes & steering. Front disc brakes (Wilwood system). Center console floor shift automatic. Has a new vinyl top with a glass rear window. Top does work with a slow motion. It clamps easily & tight. The windshield chrome header is in nice condition. Interior is rip free needing the door arm rests & back arm rests installed (there are 5 or 6 in parts box; 1 new). Doors & all the glass are great. All roll-up windows work like new. Lights. heater. blower motor. wipers & gauges work fine. The dash is nice original. The vehicle ID plate is in the windshield/dash original place. It starts. runs. shifts like a time machine should (good American tech). No smoke. or overheat. No valve taps. No water in the oil. no oil in the water. The brakes are a Wilwood system & work quickly. but need to be worked more (this is not driven much). New carburetor installed. New tires. There is very little rust with only couple holes on driver side back floor (which has an insert metal sheet to fill holes; the last picture). Otherwise. very preserved platforms. The trunk is all good too. Wheel wells/splash areas. rockers(inner-outer). quarters are factory unrusted. as far as I can see. It is missing the bottom windshield trim piece. radio & antenna screw on extension. This is what is termed. a clean turn key driver. As soon as it gets off the truck. probably take a trip. I'm not sure if the Wilwood brake system is a power system? They work like power brakes & have a full pedal with no softness or fluctuations.
