Description

I am currently selling my 1973 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus. This car is amazingly original and in great shape. The Satellite is an original California Car and was bought at Ray Vane Chrysler Plymouth dealership in Torrance California. The original dealer license plate frame is still present and the car has the original blue plates. I am the only the third owner and I bought it recently from the grandson of the original owner. The car has current California registration and a clean title. The interior is completely stock and in excellent condition. The carpet has no stains or rips and the seats upholstery has zero tears at all. As you can see from the pictures. the interior is almost perfect. The dash has 3 hair line cracks. The headliner is flawless and looks new. I am missing the dome light cover but the dome light works well. One of the best parts of the whole car is the original AM/ FM radio that still works great! Could of course use some new speakers. Has power windows. All the windows work except for the passenger front which may need a new motor or switch. The car also is an orginal AC car with all the components still in place. I’ve never tried the air conditioning but the blower motor works. The 318 engine is original and has some new parts including water pump. several hoses. fuel pump. battery. high pressure power steering hose AND a fresh remanufactured Carter carburetor with less than 10 miles on it. Has a small water leak behind the water pump which is pictured. The engine runs great when it is warmed up. Probably could use some fine tuning but the carb is new and once the car has run for a little while. it drives nice. The transmission is solid. Because the car lived a little closer to the coast there is some rust. The right rear has the worst part. See photos. Also the trunk has one rust hole and there appears to some rust under the vinyl top. The paint is probably around 20 years old and is close to the stock paint color. This car is not a rust bucket however and could use some TLC. The breaks work but need some work. They at least need to be bled to get the pedal to be more firm. The lights work and the blinkers do as well. The bottom line is that this car is incredibly original and does run and drive down the road. Before it’s a daily driver. it does need work and is a project but these old Mopars do not exist in this condition. I was also told the mileage of around 40. 00 is original but I haven't confirmed that. Please message with any questions. The buyer will arrange for shipping if needed. I would trailer the car instead of attempting to drive it. Don't miss out on this one!
