Description

58. 00 Miles with one non smoking senior ownerI am selling my 2001 Pontiac Trans Am with automatic transmission and 5. 7L V8. this is the WS6 package with Ram Air. White exterior with black interior. This car is considered collectable being they don't make them anymore and considering it being in excellent condition like this one. The car has been garage stored every winter and never been on snow covered roads. The car has had oil changes every 3000 miles or less. It takes premium gas so its always ran with the best fuel. This car has no engine issues what so ever. I always washed under the hood keeping the engine and underneath of the hood as clean and flashy as the exterior and interior. The car inside/out and under the hood have been kept clean over the years to maintain cleanliness and not accumulating that old car dirty look. The Rims and Tires have approximately 3. 00 miles with NO curb rash/scuffs or pot hole dings . the rims are perfect. The front bumper/hood paint on the car has a couple small typical chips from an occasional pebble that was kicked up from highway driving . aside from that. there is nothing wrong with the paint at all. Even my wife's 2013 Edge Sport has a couple of those. The only way your not going to get that is not to drive the car ever. Here is some history/story on this car if your interested in reading. It was originally bought NEW by my mom . she has owned the vehicle and put what miles it has on it. This car was her baby and she took excellent care of it being her father was a car guy. and cared for his autos like his kids. She bought the car in mind that one day she was going to give it to me without me knowing since I always wanted one of these bada$$ cars when I was young and seen the first commercial for it when the released this model. That day came about 3 years ago when she decided to tell me that the Trans Am she purchased. has been stored and she was giving it to me. Of course I was stoked to get the car out of storage and finally drive it for once! I had to change the battery but first turn of the key. and wow! I drove the car for about a month and wanted to add my touch to the car being that it seemed sooo outdated to me. I love modern stuff and I was having a hard time really enjoying the car totally. I felt I just needed to add a few new modern things to it and I would feel the same way about it when I first seen my mom pull into our drive way with it when I was 21. I first added a SLP Cat back exhaust system which made the car vocalize its true V8 muscle. Next I thought the car would look more modern and sporty with low profile tires and bigger rims. I bought 22" 5 spoke chrome Chip Foose rims for the rear and matching 20" rims for the front. still keeping the old muscle look with a modern twist. Now with the new exhaust and the T-tops off going down the highway. I couldn't hear the stereo. even when it was turned up to about distortion volume . that wasn't going to work for me. I hooked the TA up with kicker tweets. door and rear speakers with a stealth Kicker L7 sub. Of course that had to be powered with a kicker 4 channel amp and kicker 1000Watt mono sub amp. Now that's more like it! I can easily cruise 70mph on the highway and hear all the instrumentals of my tunes. and if I wanted it share my music to all around me. I could easily do that too! I did all that with the thought in mind that I want to still be able to store the T-tops in the hatch area like Pontiac intended. so I had it all custom installed leaving the hatch area completely open making the storage of the T-tops no different! Now I wanted to add some custom. temporary graffix for my personal taste but at the same time not taking from the cars original state. I added vinyl hood stripe gaffix's and blacked the rear lower bumper out. I had the windows tinted and accented the Trans Am emblems too. I thought this was more my taste now but without permanently compromising any of the Trans Am originality. This car could easily be put back to stock if that's what one chooses to do. I have done no engine mods leaving this for the next owner to do whatever they choose they would like. After having the car for 3+ years I have hardly driven it and its been stored in my garage. I would like to have an attached garage built and feel I have never really formed an attachment to this car like I should . I have decided to let the car go to somebody who will have that same attachment my mom did so I am selling the car. I plan to use the money to start my attached garage project soon. That's the story behind my Trans Am and why I am selling it. If you have any questions. feel free to ask as long as you are serious about possibly purchasing it. Oh yeah . and just in case anybody is wondering how my mom feels about all this . it took a bit of explaining to her but she understands. She said she did get to see me enjoy it when I was adding my personal touch to the car and that's all she wanted.
