Description

What made me look at this car was the previous owner. he called me and told me it was owned by ELVIS. and it was. just not Elvis "Presley". This car is a driver dream come true. You get the build sheet!! Judging by the a/c condenser-see pic's as well as the interior and completeness of car-it seems to be a 63. 00 mile car/survivor. The dash is very cracked up and tach is missing (a replacement is on E Bay for $190. 00) and the center dash vent is laying in back seat (to get tach out I assume). the front windshield has a crack in upper left corner. the vinyl top is driver quality with typical rust around rear window. The quarters have had patch panels done and show it. trunk needs work (what GTO doesn't?) the trunk lid is bubbly rust and I would replace it if restoring. Rear bumper needs rechromed or replaced. The tires are VERY bad. I only drive it locally. The pass side sport mirror is missing(easy to find them). The rear valance panel is gone (I will supply one from another car). If you are looking for a show car-you have a lot of work BUT THIS car is a GREAT starting point! VERY FEW parts are missing! It runs and drives GREAT! It has heavy duty Y96 firm ride group. 3. 23 open axle ratio. dual exhaust. deluxe belts. bucket and console. a/c (minus compressor and mount brackets. 400 4barrel and even the dual snorkel air cleaner!! ALL the front supports and hardware are there. The floor is very good. the frame is GREAT! Side and rear glass is all good. Trim on outside is ALL intact!! The rear sway bar and boxed control arms are still there! Brakes are good and solid (they are front disc rear drum). the doors are pretty dang good. Tranny seems to shift great-lights all work-TWO of the headlights are STILL original T-3's! If you are looking for a decent driver or a numbers matching car to restore as you go-this car is excellent! Bid like you mean it-this car is for sale locally on April 15th and it WILL sell to highest bidder locally or nationally by April 18th.
