1976 Pontiac Trans Am - Project Car

Bought the car here about 7 years ago from a guy in Colorado. The car ran and drove great up until last Easter. nbsp;when the engine started knocking. The body has some rust issues. see pictures. judge for yourself. Car is fully intact except for the motor. Intake. belts and pulleys have been removed. but I have all the parts. THE HONEYCOMBS ARE NOT PART OF THE AUCTION. I have a set of rally wheels that come on it originally. pics available. they're nothing special. but in good shapeThe car was being prepped for paint. as the pics will show. The body is solid as you can see from the bare metal rear pics. The sandblasting company butchered their part and primered over old paint. trim. etc. The paint. in my opinion will need to be completely redone. The interior is in great shape. partially restored. AC works. not great. but all the parts are there. The 350 Turbo trans was rebuilt a few years back. and has very few miles since then. B&M holeshot 2000 converter with heavy duty clutchesBased on the rust issues. it'll never be a show car. But it still has plenty of years as a street machine. with some TLCI was building a 428 for this car. but I recently found another 76 with the 455 & 4 spd intact. and I can only afford one project for now.
