1983 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am W/ 406 SBC

Up for auction is this beautiful 1983 Pontiac Trans Am. This car has 46,500 original mile, it has the original paint, meaning there has never been any bodywork or paint work done to this car, the paint on it is from day one of its like. The body and paint are in excellent condition with minor imperfections that you'd expect for a car this age, the nose piece has been scuffed on the drivers side and the plastic is cracked. The chassis and floors are just as nice as the outside. The story I was told on this car is it was inherited by someone after being in storage for 20 plus years, for some reason they pulled the original 305 and trans and then somehow the engine and trans went missing. Then it was purchased less motor & trans and at that point a professionally built and installed 406 cubic inch small block chevy and beefed up Turbo 350 trans were installed and thats how the car sits today. The car runs great, runs out smooth & hard and is driven daily April thru October. The car still has the original Goodyear Eagle tires, the rear currently has street slicks on the back to get better launches, but if you like doing giant burnouts I do have the original Goodyears for the rear also that come with the car. This was originally an A/C car but the A/C components have been deleted., the heater core is still there and in good condition, the blower motor was removed but I have a good working motor that comes with the car. All lights, turn signals, wipers, gauges, etc are properly working, power windows work just fine.
