1975 firebird formula 400

I feel this is one of the finest examples of a 1975 formula 400 around. 400 cu in engine all matching #'s . I purchase this Formula a few years ag, the original owner repainted the Formula with a show quality paint job (it has a few minor chips which has been touched up cause I have driven it) I have the original purchase agreement from the selling dealer in his name and also PHS document on the car. I don't know how far he went on the reconditioning the car, but it has all new suspension part, ball joint, tie rods bushing, shocks,links, ETC. Interior is like new and this is absolutely the cleanest 1975 formula I have seen!! Inner and outer rockers and pinch welds/and inner wells perfect!!! It was purchased new in PA in 11/74 and he sold the vehicle about 7 years ago to a guy in Ontario, Canada. The second owner had it about 5 years and put less than 1,000 miles on the car and decided to sell it because he did not drive it and kept it in a controlled temperature garage . I brought it back to the states where it belongs and haven't put many miles on myself. Since I've owned the Formula I have replaced the belt, engine mount, water pump, svc tran, tune up LOF (maintenance) and installed a dual stainless Pypes exhaust, ( I have the original style exhaust, new and also a new test pipe and original catalyst) The A/C has been updated to the new r134 system. The vehicle shows 22,053 miles which I cannot verify cause it came with the title saying exempt on miles cause of age and Ohio lists it as actual unknown!! The car performs and rides as it has 22K on the clock!! I have installed lime green stripes which are vinyl and removable, Brand new Continental 225/40 18 tires and new Bandit 8" wheels. New 2" lowering springs in rear and I have new original height rear springs, front lowered 2" also. Stainless flexible brake lines, I have the original wheels restored with new tires. The original radio and tape deck are out of the vehicl, tape deck works but radio needs to be sent for repair. All this car really needs is a engine detail and it would be close to a show quality car!! There is a correction on the title mileage listed, I checked my Ohio title and they did list it at 121,284 miles not actual unknown when I purchased it in 2014 so I have put around 800 miles since I have purchased the vehicle. I also have been getting a lot of questions on paint color, the original color listed on the trim tag and PHS is 29 stellar blue (midnight blue). I've checked every where on this car for evidence of blue and cannot come up with any trace. Who ever painted this car was a professional and it is better than any factory paint I've seen. What puzzled me is this is the second 75 formula 400 I've ha, the other one I purchased in 1976 when I lived in San Diego and it was BLACK!!! I find it hard to believe that some one would repaint a year old car! I've talked to a so called Pontiac "EXPERT" on line and he says he has heard of dealers doing a special order on cars with a color change and the trim tags were not updated cause that color was not available stock on that model!?!? So the Tag says 29 stellar blue and i"ts BLACK!! A lot of cars look better in PICS well this one looks better in PERSON! thanks Geno
