Description

RELISTING DUE TO NON PAYING BIDDER. PLEASE DO NOT BID OR HIT THE BUY IT NOW WITHOUT BEING CERTAIN YOU ARE BUYING THIS CAR. This car is mint. I really only buy low mileage. as close to original cars as I can. I don't mind minor things that are not original as long as I can convert them back to original without much effort or changes to the car. Things like the wrong radio are easily put back to original. but i never buy cars that have major changes from originality. I never buy cars that have structural damage or replaced panels. fenders. etc. This car is all 100% original body. If you didn't know it. and I told you the car was six months old. you would believe it. That's how nice this car is. I bring all my cars to the dealership every spring to have a complete check. anything not working or in need of repair is done. I keep my cars on smart trickle chargers all the time. If you wanted you could get in and drive this car in the middle of January. of course I never drive it in winter. It's a 1990 c2 cab. 48. 00 original miles. It is the first year with the tiptronic trans. It's a four speed and still acts a lot like a manual transmission even though it's the tip. The car is almost all original and in excellent condition. The only things not original are; a stainless fab speed exhaust that sounds excellent and adds horsepower to the car(easily changed back if you don't like it). A performance chip(but I have the original). Air box is carbon fiber to allow more air in(don't have the original). The radio is not original. but nothing has been cut to put it in just in case you want it back to original(don't have original). Tires and maintenance things like plugs. oil. etc. are not original. Other than that. it's original. The car is mint condition. The body and paint are original and excellent. Rubber all around is great. Interior is in excellent shape with no wear. There is a one inch wear area in the cloth top on the left side where the material is thread bare from the top going up and down. Other than that. the top is very dark black with no fading. Works perfectly. Glass is all original. Seats. carpets. floor mats. spare tire. tool kit. air pump. jack. books. keys. tonneau cover are all there and original. Headlights. tail lights are all original and excellent. No window sticker. No wind stop for the back seat. but everything else is there and original. Tires are excellent. Two front tires are brand new. Rear tires have about 75% tread left. Brand new front brakes. Rear brakes are excellent. Rims have no curb rash. Center caps are still bright. Under the battery is awesome. no rust or paint wear. Carpet and padding under bonnet is mint. Interior is excellent. Rear taillight that are known for fading and cracking. on this car are bright red and no cracks. Mechanically the car is mint. Just before I bought it. the guy had over $8. 00 of service done. Fuel pump relays. steering rack assembly and bushings. transmission service. ABS service. He had the full engine out service done where they replace all the gaskets. belts. CV joint boot kit. cam cover and timing chain gaskets. steering pump. engine tubes. brakes. and more. I have receipts going back at least ten years. Just had the car at the Porsche dealer and everything is tip top condition. and working perfectly. If I still have it in the spring I would address these things and make the car perfect. When I was detailing it to put it away for the fall. I broke the knob off the headlight dimmer. but do have a complete in the box NOS switch to replace it. just haven't gotten to it yet. I would find an original radio. even though they are not so good. I am a stickler for originality. Never cared much about listening to the radio in a Porsche the engine sounds too good to hide it behind tunes. Find the rear seat wind deflector. The good news. everything is still out there for these. just have to look around a little. These things are very minor and I am not picking. but i just want to show how obsessive I am about my cars. To get a good idea look at the photographs of the battery box and the door jambs. they are as clean as the exterior of the car. Look at the photograph of the ashtray that has never been used. All the knobs look like the day they came off the showroom floor. I have the original books and all receipts dating back to 1998. Please do all inspections or ask any questions before bidding or hitting the buy it now. Make sure you have any financing in place. Make sure you have permission from the wife. Bidding or buy it now means you own it. The deposit is due within 24 hours and is non refundable. It takes time and money to list the car please understand that when bidding. Thank you.
