Description

What you are looking at is a very honest and original BRUMOS Atlanta Inc delivered 1983 Porsche 911SC Cabriolet. This car has only 88,XXX miles from new. It is located in NW Montana where it is kept in a climate controlled garage and only driven during the summer.
The paint is Porsche factory original. There are a some stone chips on the front of the hood that would be expected from a 33 year old original paint car. There are also some other minor scratches in the finish. Some of the blemishes IE: some rock chips have beentouched up.However, hat being said, he paint is very, ery presentable. It is certainly one of the best original paint cars I have ever seen. This is probably only possible because the car has spent most of its life in a garage. And the climate in Montana is cool and dry. The paint is better in person then in the photos.
The interior is all original. The leather seats are in great shape. The dash is in great shape. no cracks and no warping. The original carpet is in great shape and protected under Porsche floor mats. There is some fading in the carpet behind the rear seats. The only thing missing in the interior in the original radio. All and all the interior is very good.
All of the Porsche factory stickers are still intact and in great shape IE: Under the engine lid, n the engine compartment, nder the trunk lid, nd in the door jambs. The original jack is still in its place and the rubber strap hold down is in great shape. The trunk compartment of the car looks brand new.It is very presentable.
The cruise control does not work. The air conditioning does not work either. However the fan in the interior is blowing. AC may just need a recharge.
The tires are brand new from end of last fall. There is less then 300 miles on them.
Oil is new from end of last fall before car was put away for winter.
The top is all original and functions fine. There is some shrinking that has caused some stitching to come apart that is seen in one of the photos. All of the glass is original and in great shape.
I just pulled the car out of storage and it is cold here in Montana so it was a little cranky warming up. But once warm the car performs just as a good 3.0 should. No smoke, good oil pressure, ood power.and sounds great. This is a very dry motor. The heater works great.
That transmission shifts smoothly and precise. The shift linkage bushings were just replaced last fall so the shifting is tight.
The clock works but I'm not sure how good it keeps time.
The cigarette lighter does not work.
All the lights work including both fog lamps.
horn works.
All and All this is a fantastic original Porsche. And the Brumos Atlanta linage is great. If you are looking for a very very honest and rare Porsche please consider this little cabriolet. The car IS for sale meaning I do not have a ridiculous reserve and the auction will start with a $1.00 bid. I'm not a dealer that is prospectively trying to sell. I also have the car for sale here in Montana, o I reserve the right to end this auction early.
