This car was originally purchased from Foreign Motors Inc. in Boston, Mass. and was delivered on September 14, 1964 to original owner in Providence, Rhode Island. Current owner purchased car in New York State in 1976. Partial restoration started in 1982. Driven about 5 years total since 1976and off the road since 1998. Kept in a garage for last 38 years.Only 5-6 thousand miles since engine rebuild with Big Bore kit, Webers, and extractor exhaust. Gear box shifts with ease. Original doors, windows, trunk and deck lid. Doors and windows have neverbeen removed. All four windows work. Doors slam shut with a “quality thunk” ! Door locks work.Rebuilt battery box and working 6 volt electric system. Gas tank sand blasted and re-coated. Most interior and exterior lights work. Windshield wipers work (windshield washer buds missing). Originalchrome moon hubcaps. Body looks good. The car has a lot of good metal. There is some fiberglass work in the typical places. Closer inspection will show some dings, scratches, some sanding marks,a small ripple on rear fender, and slight dimples on front hood.Front floor repaired with sheet metal and angle iron. Rear floor is good. Car has not been driven as it needs complete brake system (including master cylinder) and front end work.Tires havegood tread but are old. Rear axle leaks gear oil although rear axle has been replaced and there is a split in the same rear rubber axle tube bellows. Some rust holes in heating channels but rocker panels themselves are very solid. Jack posts rusted out.Carbs may need rebuild. Carpets need replacement.Good heater boxes. Many original and extra parts including Zenith Carbs, fly wheel, spare tire and wheel, front bumper (bent and cracked), two under door chrome deco strips, exhaust “stinger” pipe, window washer tank, original keys, Porsche Service Book issued to original owner, Blaupunkt Radio Instructions, original Driver's Manual (a few pages of rear Index missing) and WorkshopMaintenance Manual.
