I am the PCA National Tech Chair, so my information is readily available in any Porsche Panorama magazine or by looking on pca.org. I have had around 20 Porsches and this is one of the nicest 993s you will find anywhere. I know it is a Tip, but they are great driving cars and in manual mode, there is a negligible difference between the six speed. Plus for driving around town or in stop and go traffic, the Tip makes it much more enjoyable. This months Excellence says this condition car is worth around $60K, but Excellence has typically trailed the market slightly. The 993 is the last of the air cooled Porsche 911s and is in my opinion, the best body design of all 911s. Many others agree. It will not be long before all quality 993s are over $100K. The 993 Turbos are pushing $200K and the wide bodies right in between. With its low production numbers, less than 1000 96 Tips built, it is a great investment that you can drive, show, have fun and still see a positive return over the years. Much better than money in the bank!
