Description

An exceptionally well documented example of Morris Garage'siconic MGB MKII Roadster, ccompanied by service, aintenance, and parts receipts spanning from its first 1000 mile service to the current mileage encompassing the last 45 years. They include receipts from Moss Motors, ritish Victoria, nd much more. It is rare to find such a comprehensive assemblage of records of any classic car. Very impressive, nd an exceptionally well sorted and maintained MGB MKII.
Nicely refinished in a two stage, ase coat, lear coat finish, he paint shows very nicely, ccentuated by nice chrome, tainless, nd glass. Full chrome bumpers, nique to the early vintage MGB's enhance its appearance, nlike the later production MGB's with the hideous andugly rubber protrudingbumpers and facia. The body is rust free, xceptionally nice, ith only one very small ding to the right aluminumhood which will be corrected.
Fitted and equipped with a very rugged and quality roll bar, t interferes somewhat with complete top retraction, owever it not an issue when driving, nd can be very easily modified to facilitate complete retraction if you wish. I imagine the roll bar is a requirement if you wish to Autocross the MGB at Sports Car events.
a 5 main bearing 1798 cc inline four cylinder engine, oupled to a fully synchromesh, nbsp;four speed transmission, ltimately designed for the morepowerful 150 h/p 3.0 liter engine, the MGB MKII runs and shifts smoothly with no unusual noises, moke, r vibrations. It's an exceptionally fun car to drive, nd handles like its on rails with its rack and pinion steering, redestein radial tires mounted to "knockoff" wire wheels. All the tools, onneau cover and jack are present.
The MGB MKII's interior and dash are in excellent condition. All the controls, ights, nd gauges function as originally designed, owever, noted the odometer ceased to work after I set the trip back to zero a couple of weeks ago. The mileage Ibelieve is correct as of that time. The speedometer does function.
In conclusion, his is an attractive, ery nice driver quality Roadster, hich can be driven almost anywhere with confidence. The enclosed pictures pretty much say it all. It is a terrific and unique car for its vintage and very nicely restored to high driver quality standard.
The MGB MKII Roadster will be sold as is where is, ith nowarranty expressed or implied. I reserve the right to end the auction early, iven it is advertised on other venues worldwide and locally. To the prospective purchaser, encourage personal inspection, r by qualified representative of yourchoosing. I will not allow inspection as a condition of sale after auction end.

Kindly consult these guides prior to bidding, o ascertain whether it meets your budget guidelines. Bidders with a feedback score of ten (10) or less, lease contact me prior to bidding, hus avoiding cancellation of your bid. It would be appreciated.
