Description

Here is a rare & fun 1999 Lighten Blue 3 door Viggen with a remote CD player in trunk. Ioriginally bought this car back in 2012 did some work to it then sold it at my dealership in Fort Dodge Iowa, om Donney Motors. I bought the car again in 2014 and did some more work to it and checked the oil pan for sludge (none) and new head gasket. Also has a new crank sensor and Trans/engine mount. Several other minor things fixed. Good pixels on SID. I alsoinstall a new clutch, ressure plate, urn the flywheel, ew slave cylinder and new hose from the master to the slave. This was done at 117K. The clutch works perfect...(I own a transmission business so I make sure it is done right)....the clutch takes a very small amount of left foot pressure tooperate....so many of the 9-3 have a very hard (heavy) pedal on them. Replacing all thecomponentsand the NEW hose makes for a super easy & smooth pedal feel.
I have been driving this car since 2014 and really enjoying driving it. As of right now it is running real good and strong....fun fast car.I am starting a Saab museum, Saab Heritage Museum USA) and need to sell a many of my newer cars to make room the vintage Saabs I need to keep and maintain for the museum.
With over Saab 135 cars (yes I own a few Saabs) I just do not have the funds tomaintain& keep them all.
These Viggen's are a blast to drive and own. This one is fast and fun. It is not perfect as it is a 16 year old car but better than most! It does have some paint bubbling on the left rear fender wheel wheel area. Other than that the paint is real good. The interior is very good for it's age and has no badly worn spots . Has a nice set of floor mats too. The front spoiler has a couple parking bumper spots on it but is decent too. Both heated seats worked also.
This car is extremely stock and not all modified like so many of the Viggens are. Also low miles & a nice looking car.
