Description

2002 Saab 9-3 Viggen Convertible. 2.4L turbo engine, 5 speed manual, 95k miles. Laser red exterior, black leather interior. Kenwood stereo with AUX, USB and bluetooth as well as new speakers installed last year. Recently installed: new tires, new DI cassette and spark plugs, replaced brake pads, and just had a fresh oil change with full synthetic. Runs strong, no warning lights or anything, clutch is good, I never have slam shifted it or thrashed it. Clean Texas title, never wrecked. Air blows ice cold, hydraulics for the convertible top all work. Always owned by Saab enthusiasts, has had oil changed every 3000 miles, annual hand wax applied, and regular engine flush and cleaning since we have owned it (4 years). If you know Saabs you know that this is the real deal. Extremely hard to come by a Viggen like this; I get compliments constantly on it. A Saab mechanic just checked over it a couple of weeks ago and said it is in fantastic shape. It still is a 14 year old car so it does have some wear to be expected...curb rash on front bumper cover and some clear coat pealing on bumper covers (was resprayed in the past) a few small door dings, driver's seat has a bit of wear but no tears, roof not as waterproof as it used to be but regular treatment helps. One wheel has just a tiny bit of curb rash. Currently stored indoors. Just bought something a bit more practical for my needs. Buyer responsible for arranging transportation, if you are local feel free to make an appointment to come see it. 9.11.2016: I do have both keys for the car, and had the batteries replaced by a Saab dealer in 2015. Only thing that I have had fail in 4 years was the alternator, which was replaced with an OEM part by Swedish Auto in Austin in July 2013. I have had the oil warning light come on a couple of times since I have owned it around the time it is due for an oil change, just topping up with a quart or so solves it until a full oil change can be done.
