1984 Saab 900 2. 0L. 4-door. 5 speed manual transmission. Currently has 161. 95 miles on it. but will continue to go up as I drive it a few miles every day. Runs. shifts. and drives smooth down the road. Beige in color. tan interior. Starts a little hard sometimes. but snaps out of it after about 20 seconds if you give it a little gas. After that. it runs and idles great. THE GOOD:- new fuel pump and fuel pump relay 6. 00 miles ago (both high and low pressure pumps)- head gasket and starter rebuild done 4. 00 miles ago- new muffler and fuel accumulator 2. 00 miles ago- within the last 1. 00 miles I have replaced: - brakes (front calipers/rotors/pads. rear rotors/pads) - brake master cylinder - clutch slave cylinder - rear main seal - transmission output seal - all new belts - spark plugs/wires - distributor cap/rotor - air filter - fuel filter - radiator cooling fan switch - oxygen sensor (lambda sensor) - battery (1 month old) - front and rear shocks (KYB) - tires (4 brand new Hankook snow tires) - coolant temperature sending unit (although gauge still doesn't work) - I also gave it an alignment and set the timing - old school Thule ski/roof rack -new water pump as of today (3/22/15)THE BAD:- paint is faded. would probably shine up with a good buffing- has some dents and dings and a little rust around the wheel wells. but the underside is in good shape- the dash is cracked. but I have a brand new dash mat to cover it if you want- headliner is still intact. but has no fabric left on it- passenger front seat is sunk down (needs a new piece of burlap underneath)- dome light does not come on when any of the doors are opened- needs a new thermo-time switchThis car gets around great in the snow. did better this winter than my 4x4 Subaru. The heat works awesome. temperature gauge on dash cluster does not work properly. it always jumps to completely hot. even though the car does not overheat. Does not have A/C or cruise control. It's not going to win any beauty contests. but it is a good solid driving car. These ones are getting harder to find. and this one is in decent shape and has a lot of work put into it to get it mechanically sound. Only reason I'm selling is because I have too many other projects I'm working on. and this one drew the short straw. I will not ship this car. if you want it shipped anywhere. you need to make arrangements yourself. Car is sold AS-IS. with no warranty of any kind implied. I have this car for sale locally as well. so I reserve the right to end the auction early in the event it sells locally first. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
