Here is a great 1999 Subaru Legacy SUS for sale. A little history on the car. It is an SUS model because it is considered a Sport Utility Sedan. Subaru only made them for one year as it's 30th anniversary model. The draw is that it has been factory raised an extra 2". Much like what Subaru is doing now with the Crosstrek except this is a Legacy model, meaning more usable space. It also has the "cold weather" package which includes heated mirrors and heated seats. It has a 2.5L motor, a full leather interior, and a lot of new parts. The A/C blows cold and the heater is hot. It runs like a dream and I have driven it long distances without ever having a problem. All the big service maintenance has been done recently in anticipation of the sale. Here is the list...
In the last 15,000 miles:-Both Head Gaskets (OEM Subaru)-Head Bolts (OEM Subaru)-Water Pump (OEM Subaru)-Thermostat (OEM Subaru)-Upper & Lower Radiator Hoses-Timing Belt-Timing Belt Pulleys-Timing Belt Tensioner-Sealed Oil Seperator-Full Engine Gasket Kit (OEM Subaru)-Gates Serpentine Belts-A/C Recharge-Updated Spark Plugs and Wires
Recently:-Oil Change (Synthetic 5-30)-Transmission Fluid Change (Synthetic)-Coolant Flush-New Radiator-Transmission Filter-New Steering Rack-Alignment-Valve Adjustment-Gates Serpentine Belts-Cam Seals-K&N Air Filter-Windshield
The oil has always been changed every 4,000 miles with full synthetic oil. It's ran with at least 89 octane to keep her running strong. I've kept the car in the best running shape I could and right now it's set to run well over 200,000 miles without a problem
As with every car that's 17 years old there are some cosmetic issues. All came to me from the original owner. Knicks, dings, and some scratches. There are dents on the passenger side door as well as the bumper. The paint is chipping, which is a common defect on cars painted this color. There is a tear in the rear leather seat as well. The car does have a slight valve tick. Does not do it while the car is idling but comes out when under load. It does not affect the performance. Otherwise the car runs great.
The car also come with Michelin Defender tires on it. They are less than a year old and have great thread life left. Originally paid $800 for the set and in my opinion are the best all weather tires on the market
Feel free to contact me with more questions or if you'd like more photos
