Here for sale is a very special and rare 1991 Toyota Celica GT-4 ST185 in Left Hand Drive. Odometer shows 152,000km/95,000miles. Former USA Car. The car runs smooth and drives great. It currently has a set of winter tires in ok condition. I bought this as a project car but came across another car so need to make room in the garage. This car has the Turbocharged 2.0L with Intercooler and AWD with the 5 speed manual transmission. Options include Power Windows, ower Locks, unroof, ir Conditioning (working), ruise Control, nd Power mirrors. Interior is an good shape with nominal wear on the seats. The car does have some hail damage (see pics of sunroof and hood) and some other small damage around so please look at pics closely. It also comes with owners manuals which is a rare find as well. The car is located in Crossfield Alberta Canada. You will have to arrange any shipping but I can tow to Montana for a fee if you have the import papers sorted out for USA buyers as I am going down shortly after auction will end, ut I prefer if you picked up in person. The Toyota Celica GT-Four is a high performance model of the Celica Liftback, ith a turbocharged 3S-GTE engine, nd full-time AWD. It was created to compete in the World Rally Championship, whose regulations dictate that a manufacturer must build road-going versions of the vehicle in sufficient numbers. These vehicles are referred to as "homologation special vehicles".

The ST185's WRC debut was in 1992 Rally Monte Carlo, nd the first WRC win was in the 1992 Safari Rally, nd won four events in that year. The ST185 is Toyota's most successful rally car. It won the WRC Driver's Championship in 1992, nd the WRC Manufacturer's and Driver's Championships in 1993 and 1994. The ST205 came in late 1994, nd became official rally car in 1995 with one WRC victory. It also won the 1996 European Rally Championship.

The significance of the Toyota Celica GT-Four in WRC history, previously dominated by European manufacturers, s that it was the first time a Japanese car manufacturer entered the WRC with an AWD turbocharged car, ook trophies and won the titles. Since then other Japanese manufacturers have been successful in the WRC. Toyota preceded the Mitsubishi (Lancer Evolution and Galant VR-4) and the Subaru (Legacy and Impreza), ut not the Mazda (Mazda 323GT-R & 323GT-X).
