Description

Hi there. nbsp; You are looking at a 2000 model Toyota Celica (GT) 5-speed. The body is in decent shape except for the front bumper/guard (See pics) The interior is in very good shape. We purchased this car close to a year ago from a friend who was upgrading. The car only lasted about a month before it began to have issues. we have toyed with the ideaof replacing the motor and transmission ourselves but have decided not to undertake another project at this time. Here are it's big problems. . Oil leak/consumption is a major issue. The car is certainly leaking oil and is probably consuming it at a high rate as well. It will need a quart of oil approximately every100 miles2. Transmission is making terrible noises and sometimes does not want to go into 1st gear without a lot of effort from the driver. 3. Something is draining the battery. I have been starting this car up every 1-2 weeks but sometimes the battery will be dead when I get out to start it (usually when it has been a couple of weeks). I confirmed that the alternator is working so I replaced the battery about 3 months ago. same issue. I have the battery on charge currently so i can start it every so often. 4. A/C is hooked up but not charged. The previous owner had to replace the condenser/radiator after hitting a deer. He has hooked everything up but neither of us had the system charged back up. 5. Check engine light is on for one of the o2 sensorsThe car starts and sounds very normal but I would not trust it to drive any distance. I HIGHLY recommend picking this up with a trailer since there is no telling when the transmission will fail. Overall this car would make a fantastic starting point for someone who either wants to make a good daily driver out of it or for the car enthusiast who is considering a GTS swap. *Item relisted because of non serious bidder. they decided to place a bid with no intention of even coming to see the car. **Serious bidders only please**Contact me before bidding if you have no feedback from previous transactions. (your bid may be deleted if you do not do so)* Please message me if you have any questions at all. Thanks for looking!
