Description

Up for sale is my 1982 Bernardi Roadster built by Blakely Auto Works in the eighties. It was built in America using all American materials and drive train. The drive train is an eighties era Mustang Two chassis with a four cylinder motor and automatic transmission. The body is made of two layers of fiberglass with foam in between which makes it the strongest body you could find at the time. The car is very solid and quiet when driving, o rattles or squeaks. The car has low miles and has always been maintained and is a joy to drive and very peppy with the big four banger in it. When this car was produced in the Blakely factory and sold to the public its price tag was as much as a base Corvette from the dealer, o this car is not a cheap Volkswagen replica. It is similar to a Shelby Cobra in body style but has a unique look. The frame and body are built very strong. If you need any history about the car, ype in your search engine Blakely Auto Works, nd you will find some neat things about the car's history. No one really knows how many running examples are left, ut I would say very few, ecause you don't see many for sale or on the road. This car is a great runner in beautiful condition, nd the only thing it needs is a new top, ut I drive with the boot on it when I take it out in good weather so never worried about getting one installed. The car has always been garaged since I've owned it and probably since it was built by the condition of the car. The tires are new as are the brakes and exhaust. The car has a nice cd/am/fm stereo installed with a great sound for cruising. If you want a solid sports car that has American roots then this would be the one to get. There are no warranties implied and the car because of the age is being sold as is,but this is a great little car for local shows or just cruising. I just spent $1400 on a tune up.
NOTE: The VIN number is actually 82PSMB74711411, ut eBay required a 17-digit number.
