Description

I bought this camper because it was real clean it had 119K Knowing that it was time for a timing belt and that it had an oil leak of some kind. Figured it was probably cam seal. which it was. but there was more. The list below is a shot of what's been done. Not everything is on the list. but those are the major items. The fridge has been out a couple of times. once for the re-lighter module. a common problem and a bad connection for the 12 V. Just came back from a 2K trip from Santa Fe to San Diego. up the coast to LA and back. It preformed faultlessly. The fridge ran on 110V. 12V and gas. no problem. A/C is running cold. However my partner has decided. no more sleeping in the camper. only motels. So. one has to go. here's hoping I'm making the right decision on which one goes. (LOL)I have a lot of the original paperwork that came with the vehicle. including original window sticker. the 3 ring binder with the documents showing it coming into the US and being converted by Winnebago. It came in as an automatic and was converted to the 5 speed. don't know when. I have the original bill of sale from the previous owner showing that he bought it in CO for $18K. It is a repaint. paint is OK. I'm fussy. Comes with Sirius XM with a lifetime subscription. The head unit is an Alpine that is HD. blue tooth and Sat ready. seems everything is an add on module with it. Does have the cable for I pod. Cerwin Vega plate speakers in the rear. Two sets of wheels and tires come with it. The correct Michelin Agilis LR C and a set of Bridgestone Blizzak 205/65 15. Both sets have 7/32 tread left. The Bridgestone's came off a VW W8 that I had and work great. Oil and filter change with Mobil 1 just before the recent trip to CA. 4/27 it is getting the windshield replaced. oh yeah. has pleated curtains all around. nd the next day is in the shop for temperature sensor replacement. again. Work done by previous owner: 2011. replace clutch and brakes. Replace power steering pump. spark plugs and wires. Work since I have owned it. Replaced water pump. timing belt. roller. tensioner. multi rib belt. Go through the brakes. rebuild from scratch the e brake assembly. Leaking transmission . replaced inner and outer flange seals. removed CV boot cleaned and re greased. Between engine and transmission. many leaks. Flushed transmission and replaced with VW synthetic gear oil. CEL. replaced water temp sensor. distributor cap and rotor. HVAC only coming out of the defrost vents. found one of the directional plugs in a vacuumline installed backwards not allowing the air distributor to function. Unable to drain the domestic water in camper. found the hose burned and closed. repaired with new hose. Replaced the screws to vent with Velcro. so draining the water tank is easier. Replace brake and clutch pedal pads. Replaced fuel filter. Repair door jamb switches in prep for remote locking and alarm. Replaced the re-lighter module in fridge. Had central locks and code alarm installed. Installed battery cutout for house battery Installed DRL's. Replace defective thermostat. Install new control handle for back seat/bed. Installed voltage monitor van battery. includes in/out temp with frost warning + clock. Replaced fuel pump. seal ring installed incorrectly Found faulty oxygen sensor signal. replaced. Found fault on map sensor. cleaned and re soldered connections on ecu. Replaced defective PWCM. power window control module. I'm a lifelong VW fan and I've had my share of campers/RV’s and this setup is one of the best that I have had. It has an awning. however the previous owner told me he forgot secure it properly leaving a campground. So it needs to be repaired. He stated a little over $100. Never having a camper with an awning. I didn't miss it. so never looked into it. If you have 0 transactions on Ebay. please contact me via Ebay and confirm your intentions. A few years back I had a Vanagon Westy on Ebay with the same message. The bidder didn't contact me. /p> I canceled their bids. not wanting to get stuck with a scam. Consequently they lost out and the Westy would have gone higher. Just remembered. when traveling on interstates. IE: moving along quickly. with your foot in it. it will come up with a CEL. it has no affect on the running. it still runs fine. just the light is on. Every time it goes into the shop it has been scanned for that and nothing comes up. For me it's not a problem and I just ignore it. I can drive around Santa Fe for a year. go 65 to 70 mph and never see it. Ask any questions. I know this camper well. Just realized I have sold six vehicles on Ebay. with no problems so bid with confidence. If you wish to communicate via phone or TXT. message me through Ebay and we can work it out.
