Restored to original 73 VW Thing, Buggy, Beetle Bug Type 181

With my parents RV already sold it is time to sell their tow behind car. My parents were big into taking their motorhome to the coast and pulling this Volkswagen Thing behind the RV. The Thing made for a perfect cruise car around the beach or home! They stopped traveling. sold the motorhome and are now selling their restored VW. This 1973 VW Thing came from a classic car dealer in Florida a few years ago. It had just underwent a restoration and looks incredible. The entire Thing has been gone through and set up to be reliable for my folks. I will also include the tow behind bar that my parents used to hitch the Thing up to their RV. During the restoration it was repainted the original yellow and looks sharp! The paint is in great shape. The engine was redone. the transmission and clutch both shift and feel great! It has a new convertible top. New door and window side curtains with velcro straps. The wood floor slats are in wonderful condition. The seats are recovered and look incredible. It is sold as is and mileage exempt due to age. It does have an aftermarket stereo that sounds great with top down or up. Tires are replaced with lots of tread left. Overall. this is a restored Volkswagen Thing that doesn't need anything but a new a home! Its perfect if you want to go to the local car show or take a Sunday drive.
