1961 Volkswagen Beetle Ragtop Priced to sell. Here I have for sale my 1961 VW Beetle " Ragtop" large sunroof, ost collectable of all Beetles, really great driver. I bought the car from CA and it is an original ragtop and a 1961 matching numbers body and pan, itle. It has original rust free pan and heater channels, resh paint (Not Show Quality), ew gas tank and gauge, new" original reproduction wiper arms /blades, ew top and brakes, nd new seat covers carpet etc. ... I don’t see any rust anywhere in the car. The original 1200cc motor was replaced with a much faster and stronger motor. A recently rebuilt 1600cc Dual Port motor, ated to a new Freeway Flyer transmission. New clutch, nd new shifter. Shifts very smoothly. And the transmission lets you hit freeway speeds or faster no problem. There are no vibrations at high-speeds and feels very solid. The 61 are the lasts of the snowflake taillights. And has the classic small taillight. And Goldie Handle. Original jack, nd tools. Stereo dash uncut. Pro: New and adjusted F&R brakes New Trans. New Motor New packed bearings Sleeves. Shifter Assembly Cons: Needs headliner Shows some light patina (is a Pro in my opinion) Serious buyers please.
