Description

Car is a survivor. 1. 5l gas engine. 5 speed manual. Car runs and drives very well. I have decided to register it so that I could further assess the condition of the mechanical features. Car is missing the front VW badge. and both outer CV boots are torn. I have taken pictures detailing all of the rust spots on the car. The vehicle has a complete interior included AM radio. I replaced a few of the shift linkage bushings so the car goes into gears smoother. Like the title states. this car is BONE STOCK. no modifications at all. As stated the car does run and drive very smoothly for its age. The engine does not smoke when it runs or starts. I have noticed some blow-by in the valve cover breather tube however. No rust on any of the lower control arms or strut towers. I believe an interior piece is missing from below the glove-box but other then that. this is the cleanest and most complete interior I have ever seen. No rips in the headliner. 269 806 four 900 text or call is great. I have tried to detail every angle of the cars exterior and interior. as well as any rust related ailments. This is a really great car. I just don't have room for it. As far as the history. I bought it from the lady that drove it off the lot. so this is technically a two owner car (I have put ~100 miles on it) because these odometers can rollover I suppose its absolutely possible this car could have 47k. 147k. 247k. or n47k. Judging by the looks of the interior I would say its 47k. but I want to be an honest seller so there it is. I have given the car a pretty through shake down the past week. and it runs great. The fuel distributor could be gone through to aid the starting process a bit. I would also advise changing the plastic knob within the gear linkage as there is just a wee bit of play due to it being flattened on two sides (pretty common problem). I did a fresh oil/ filter change. flushed the coolant. changed the air-filter. Car is in original condition. please let me know if you have any questions at all. Thanks for looking!Buyer is responsible for shipping. Paypal or cash in person only. -Josh C.
