There are several things that make this car quite special, nd I'll try to make sure that I list all of them for those that are not quite as familiar with these Volvos. These 98-00 V70s are developing quite a following among our customers, nd we are constantly having people asking us to find nice examples of them (because of our reputation as a seller of volvos of this vintage). We scour the country looking for the finest examples of these cars. We often come across them, ut rarely in the fantastic condition of this particular one. These cars were in production since the eary 90s (as the 850), nd then from 1998-2000 they were lightly redesigned and made more luxurious and sold as the V70. These final versions of Volvo's first front wheel drive car are perhaps one of the most reliable Volvos ever made! In fact, he engine and transmission configuration in this car will have no problem eating all of the miles you throw at it. We have seen several of these with 300, 00, nd even 500k miles! Now, n top of all of the things that make this 2000 V70 XC SE special, his is also very, ery well optioned. It's stuffed with options like the Touring Packge, eather, oonroof, tability and Traction Control, nd of course, he top of the line "SE" trim package which was exclusive to 2000 as it was the final year of production for these cars! This is as highly optioned as a V70XC can be in the 2000 model year! The SE trim level adds exclusive larger alloy wheels, eal redwood trimmed dash, teering wheel, nd shift knob, ntegrated child booster seats, rocery bag holders, omelink, nd more. Going anywhere in the winter is now something you'll never have to worry about. These V70 XCs feature the very first iteration of Haldex's All Wheel Drive. Hadex is a Swedish based company which does nothing but design and manufacture all wheel drive systems. Their systems have come to be used in makes and models in various car companies, nd even in extremely high performance cars such as the new Volvo S60 Polestar. The first generation of this system is regarded as many Volvo enthusiasts as being the best for winter traction. It also has a winter mode for the transmission which starts the car out in second gear to prevent wheel spin. This car is a TWO OWNER vehicle. The second owners of tihs car owned it for yearly the last 100k miles and they kept it serviced by the Volvo dealership regularly. Right down to it having a Volvo battery and Volvo wiper blades. This is a very very well cared for car.

The interior of this V70 is in very good condition. In fact, verall, his is one of the nicest interiors we've ever seen in one of these cars. The black leather seats are in nearly perfect condition for the car's age with no tears. They're still quite soft, nd feel great. Everything in the interior works including the air conditioning, hich is ice cold. The car has the upgraded high-performance alpine/volvo sound system with 10 speakers and a CD/Cassette player. It's easy to use, nd sounds excellent. It also has a power moonroof. The previous owner of this car was definitely a non-smoker. These cars don't even come with cigarette lighters, ust power outlets. There is a cup holder that accommodates two beverages. This Volvo has dual front airbags, s well as front side airbags. The side airbags are part of a system called SIPS which stands for "Side Impact Protection System." This is a combination of high-strength door beams, pecially designed door openings, nd side airbags, hich keeps the passengers safe in the event of a side impact. Since this is a 2000, t's also the only year of this style V70 which has WHIPS whiplash protection system which prevents the front seat passengers from experiencing whiplash in the event of a rear-end collission. The rear seats fold flat (both the second and third row seats), nd the passenger front seat also folds down for carrying very long cargo.

The exterior of this V70 is in remarkably good condition for the year and miles, nd is Nautic Blue Metallic in color. This is one of the more popular colors for these cars, owever it's not often you see Nautic Blue with the black interior. This really makes this car a special color combination. We find that the black interiors tend to hold up better in the long run than the tan interiors, o that's an added bonus. The exterior of this car is just gorgeous, nd the paint is in wonderful condition. It's obvious that this car was garaged for its life. The car has very nice exclusive 16" alloy wheels which are in great condition and only came on the 2000 SE models. They really make the SE models stand out against the other XC models from this time period. There are some light scratches on the drivers side of the car which I couldn't get to show up in the pictures. Please take this into consideration.

The tires are all in nice shape with good tread life remaining. The brakes are in good shape and the car stops as it should. The legendary 2.4 Liter low-pressure turbocharged 5 cylinder engine runs flawlessly and is very smooth. The transmission also operates properly. It's very smooth, hile still shifting crisply. All of the car's accessories work including the power windows and moonroof. These cars rarely have mechanical problems.
