Offering my personal 1978 Yamaha SR500, ith low original miles. If you believe condition is everything and are looking for a big sporting single cylinder enthusiasts motorcycle, ook carefully at this one. Made starting in 1978 and only imported for a few years. The SR500's paid homage to the big British singles of the 50's and 60's and were one of the first retro bikes. The SR500 bettered the British singles by being lighter, verhead cam, uch higher RPM and better brakes. They proved to be one of the most durable east to maintain singles that can give unlimited service. The SR500's have developed a world wide cult following and have become increasingly scarce. It is a very comfortable and responsive motorcycle to ride, urprisingly fast and beautiful.

This motorcycle has been tastefully modified. The engine is stock but is equipped with a new Mikuni VM36 carberator with K&N filter. IRC tires, orman Hyde M bars, ushion grips and bar end mirrors. Motolana seat. Benelli Mojave gas tank with original paint. New front brake master cylinder. Gary Hoos exhaust with cocktail shaker muffler. AGM battery. Braided stainless steel brake & oil lines. Spare keys and service manuals included. This bike is ready to go. Mileage may change slightly as I ride it on weekends.
