note to bidders: This bike is located in Akron. OH. I am listing this bike for my son who is a volunteer in the United States Peace Corps in east Africa. The bike has a free and clear Washington State title in his name. ready for transfer to the successful bidder. Please note this bike was converted for track use meaning the painted body parts were replaced with Catalyst Supersport race bodywork plastic. lights have been removed. side stand removed and many parts replaced with 'track versions" including the tires. It would not be difficult to return the bike to street legal but not all of the removed street parts were retained. My son purchased it from Ducati of Seattle in 2012 with 1842 miles. He paid over $15k out the door for an essentially new. one-owner. nicely-optioned and. dealer serviced 1000RR. After riding it on the road for a year. he had the dealer convert it for track use. miles. 100% ready-to-ride and in top shape. He was so busy last year that he only had time for 2 track days last year. Now he'll be out of the country for the next couple years so the toy has to go.
