Description

EVERYTHING YOU SEE IN THE FIRST PICTURE IS INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION
MATCHING ENGINE, RAME & TITLE
Engine is not locked up. I removed the head to check the cylinder walls & they look ok.
The gas tank has a small handlebar dent in the front right side. The inside is very clean with no rust. The tank is in awesome shape!
When I got the frame someone had cut the top rear section just behind the seat tabs. I had this professionally welded using a donor A65 frame. A smaller 4 inch tube was inserted into the existing stock tube before welding to make it stronger than the original. You can see from the pictures it's not noticeable, specially with a coat of paint.
I have the battery box but it will need welded on.
The front forks will need rebuilt & the correct top triple tree.
The include Jones rim is rusty but still usable.
THIS IS A GREAT START TO RESTORING A NUMBERS MATCHING 1969 BSA LIGHTNING.
LOCAL PICKUP ONLY.
ALSO ACCEPTABLE WOULD BE TO ARRANGE THE SHIPPING YOURSELF.
